Went on a free walking tour in Bucharest and this was one of the buildings on the way. A beautiful piece of architecture.

A stunning building - in a city that doesn't lack stunning buildings - and a major venue for concerts in the city. It was a shame that there wasn't a concert the evening we were there as I would love to see inside if it's anything like as stunning as the outside.

this building is just beautiful - the acoustics are incredible.
Its worth visiting and likely, an outstanding place to listen to a concert.

We were thrilled to attend a performance in his beautiful venue. Outstanding, just off one of the prestigious city avenues, it has a captivating facade.

Designed by a French architect, it was unveiled in the late 1800s. It illustrates the prestige of Bucharest in those days, which was unsurprisingly referred to as the Little Paris of the East.

Moving inside is to be awestruck by the foyer and the beauty of the embellishments. The auditorium is delightfully ornate. An impressive fresco decorates the circular walls and vividly depicts seminal events in the country's history, from Roman times up to the early 1900s.
