We booked a double room in the hostel and we got a confirmation. When we arrived the double room wasn't available. We stayed in a dorm but there was only another person. That seems to be very common in Kiev on a Saturday. Places advertised double rooms available but when you phone them to check they dont have any so keep that in mind if you plan to stay a weekend in a hostel in Kiev.
The hostel is hard to find as the entrance is not in the street advertised but at the back. It is inside an office building on the 16th floor, and the hostel is actually one of the offices so its quite tricky to find, specially arriving at night. Inside is quite new, beds are quite comfy, two baths and it doesn't seem to be very busy. It seems more a place to sleep and go rather than staying in and socialising. The place is very close to the Olimpic Stadium and three stops away from the centre by metro.More
