If you are looking to visit Panama City, The real one, Not the Panamean version of Miami but the real one with its colours, its flavours and its real people, Casa Miller is what you need as a home. The hotel is very very very clean. (International Standards) The staff is charming and very helpfull. The Owner Victor will take care of you like a member of his own family. He will do anything so his guests feel like at home
Anything you need to know about Panama City, he will help. Any place you want to go or visit he will arrange it for you. He is the type of man who will tell you what and what not to do. And if you need transportation he will get it for you or his staff will at the local fare.

It is closed to markets, nice local street food for as cheap as 3$, 15 minwalk to Casco Viejo (the old town) and 10 min from the fish market. I really enjoyed being in this hotel and I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Panama City.

Victor and his will make sure you have a great Stay.

We chose this hotel for the very reasonable rate of $45.00 bed and breakfast they offered. We were happy with the comfortable bed with its nice linens. The shower worked well and there was free Netflix. The rooms and all areas of the hotel are kept very clean. Many of the rooms do not have windows but when asked we were offered a room with a window, albeit a small one. We were initially a bit put off by the location of the hotel which is in a gritty, working class neighbourhood. However it is very close to the historical town. We did walk there on one occasion and did not feel unsafe. The remainder of the time we took taxis, which were quite cheap - we paid everything from $2.00 to $5.00 to and from the 'casco viejo'. The owner of the hotel, Victor made it a point to give us his personal attention and arranged a day trip to see the area and visit the canal at a very reasonable cost. Cold bottles of water were available on request. There are a few teething problems. Breakfast is offered in an adjoining restaurant. Service there was very spotty and there is an issue with inexperienced serving staff. A new chef was brought in while we were there and he was in the process of improving the arrangements for serving breakfast. The fruit, eggs and accompaniments were good. On two days we returned from a full day's outing to find that our room had not been made up. When brought to the attention of the staff, this was remedied quickly but it is obvious that some of the organization of the housekeeping needs to be looked at. If you are looking for reasonably priced accommodation close to the historical centre, this hotel is a good choice, just be aware that you may encounter a few minor inconveniences.

I had a wonderful time at Hotel Casa Miller. Victor and his hard working staff really made me feel at home. My room was lovely: air conditioning, high quality mattress and linens. Everything is new and clean. I think most of the rooms are windowless (or as a heavily curtained window to the inner hallway) but the neighbourhood is quite noisy so the trade off for no window is a quieter room. It’s true that the hotel is next to an “edgy” neighbourhood but the place is very well guarded and there is no need to go walking there after dark if it scares you. On the other hand (in other direction), metro station Cinquo de Mayo is about 100 steps away. The beautiful waterfront walking park is a five minute walk away, as is the fish market and its food court and there are a few interesting routes to the Casca Viejo which is about a 15 min walk or a cheap short taxi ride away. Great place to stay in Panama City. I recommend it highly!

We stayed for two weeks and loved everything about the place. The hotel was recently fully renovated and therefore everything new! The staff is very welcoming and friendly and make you feel at home (special thanks to Gisselle & Jesus for always being so helpful). The owner Victor is always around and up for a chat and recommendations. Free parking and great location (just few minutes walk from the metro station). Even though the area could be dodgy we never felt unsafe. Internet connection was mostly great and all rooms offer Netflix. The restaurant needs a new chef! No outside windows, for those who need daylight. Cold showers most of the time.

This hotel is brand new. The owner is an architect and event expert from Vegas, USA (with Greek heritage). He has put his heart and sole into building the property, and you can tell there is a lot of effort in the layout and finish.

The rooms are exceptionally clean and well made. They did extremely well with the building, and you can only imagine what the place will be like when they are finished.

We were looked after really well. They were willing to fix anything that was a problem and help us out with offers that were above and beyond what any other hotel has done for us.

Its good value for Panama. The rooms are tidy, beds comfortable, and everything is brand new!
