We rode this causeway on bike. Beautiful way to get pictures of the city skyline. Great restaurants and gift shops along the way. I highly recommend this route. If you're not going to bike it then take a bus or a cab out so you can stroll and see the bay, the city and all the ships lined up waiting to go thru the canal

What a beautiful place to visit and ride, either by car of bicycle. This place is now a 4 lane road with many attractions, the ships waiting to enter the canal, many restaurants, benches to sit and admire Panama City skyline etc. At the end of this causeway there many top flight restaurants and harbor with beautiful boats. This place is always refreshing because of the ocean breezes....a great place to go in the evenings as well. The area is well patrolled by tourism police and very safe at all hours.

When traveling to panama city and not visiting the Causeway is like not going to the Canal. It is a must too. You need to walk this way and enjoy being walking on a street in the middle of the pacific with nice views of small islands, water, good ambience of bars and good food too.

We drove from Old Town to a restaurant at the end of the Causeway. The view was great and you could see all of the ships lined up for the Canal. There are walking paths and lots of benches to sit and watch what's going on. A nice way to spend a sunny day

Nice place for a day out. Last time I went the restaurants were not as good as before - more touristy and food not as good. Nice ambiance and scenery.
