The Utah ladies had a fabulous time surprising our friend on her 60th! As many of the group had never been to Annapolis , Cory (innkeeper) was so helpful regarding info on Annapolis and helping us conduct our surprise at the historic Davis Inn

The house is charming with a large porch and living room which allowed for private time with out group
Cory was very accommodating with some changes in our plans/needs and also accommodating when one of the group fell ill.
I would highly recommend staying at Inn At Horn Point in historic Annapolis
Ps. The breakfasts were fantastic. ..

Eileen. What a pleasure having you and your other "lady friends" for the surprise 60th. And thank you for taking the opportunity to post your review. It really means so much to me and my family. Folks are so busy these days. It is difficult just to get your every day agenda complete, much less log-in some where and write about an experience. Just wonderful, thank you. We hope that you all will find another excuse to be in Annapolis and not wait for M's 70th surprise (tee-hee). C&C

We enjoyed our room, dinner at Vin 909, walking around the neighborhood. We enjoyed a spectacular sunrise a short walk from the Inn, and enjoyed an exceptional dinner at Vin 909-the crab dish was excellent, and the potato soup was exceptional.

Paul. Aren't sunrises over the water particularly fantastic!! We're delighted that you were able to experience that aspect of living in Eastport. Thank you for taking a moment out of your day to write about your stay. We really appreciate it. It sounds like you had a very memorable stay, and we could not be more pleased. Do come see us again.....we'll try to save the best sun rises for that occasion. C&C

An excellent way to enjoy Annapolis......enjoy superb dining within walking distance, like 4-6 small neighborhood blocks.....Then to travel into Annapolis, take the Water Taxi 1000 yards across the bay........wonderfully romantic.

Dear Robert G. We really appreciate you taking the time to post your impressions to TA. Thank you so much. With all of the nice adjectives used in describing your experience, we had to dig in to your complete review to see how we missed the opportunity to meet or exceed your expectations. We can see by the "bullets" that we some how fell short on "value" and "service" though we do not know why. When you get the chance, if you would drop us an email to let us know, that would be incredibly helpful. Thank you for choosing to be with us and we look forward to hearing from you. C&C

Recently four friends and I visited Annapolis for the powerboat show and to visit the area and stayed at the Inn at Horn Point. The rooms were nice and clean but small with limited space for storage. I stayed in the Captiva room which had a chest of drawers and a small desk, but the rooms my friends were in had no chest and very little space to place their personal belongings. This could be solved by removing unnecessary furniture to make room for a small chest. The food was excellent but I would have preferred a choice of muffins, juice, coffee or fruit available on my schedule instead of a formal seated meal and coffee should have been available earlier than 7:30. A Keurig for early morning coffee drinkers like myself would be a nice touch. Wi-Fi was unavailable or spotty at best so I had to use my data plan for 5 days. Our group of five spent most of our time at the boat show or dining out however when we gathered in the living room we were told we were too loud (we're all in our 60s and not a rowdy bunch) so a gathering place for guests would be appreciated. Would I stay here again? Probably not but only because it's a little too quiet for my taste but for an older couples visit yes, I would recommend it.

Wow. Although INN owners certainly don't like to read reviews like this, we certainly appreciate the fact that you took time out of your busy schedule to relate your experience. You wrote a great deal about your J&B's and H&B's rooms which leads us to desperately want to hear from them. Third party endorsements and observations create, for us, a lot of unanswered questions. Coffee service seemed to be a big stumbling block. We can say with conviction that you did not ask for coffee before 7:30. We can service what we don't know. You can imagine that we are up before 6:30 am, and when we know about it, we are extremely happy to accommodate. Regarding the use of a Keurig, this is a matter of personal preference. We at a green property, and Keurig's own developer is just sick over the fact that his original product creates so much waste. In addition, our coffee is fresh ground the morning of service, while the roast (locally sourced) is never more that 2 weeks old. Keurig can not make this claim, nor can they meet the quality. We noticed that you had your own traveling coffee pot in your guest room throughout your stay. Regarding your conversation level, we make no apologies for requesting quiet after 11:30 at night. Unlike a commercial motel, our public space is very close to guest rooms, and there is no piano bar. You are always welcome to stay up and talk as late as you would like to; but never at the expense of someone else's sleep. We do hope that you will reconsider and visit us again.
