Only been there once, but I was happy with the quality of the food.

Located at the Calvert St & West St intersection, the restaurant ground floor seemed unpretentious, clean and cozy. The unisex restrooms were decently clean. Our server Dmitri was knowledgeable and took good care of us.

The Rabbit was fine. The spicy cauliflower with goat cheese was nicely spicy, and the molten goat cheese game a nice creamyness to the sauce. The shrimp special in cucumber sauce was tasty, too. The dishes come with no bread, but they will provide a *small* piece of foccacia ($2) if you ask. I mention this because the sauces tasted nice, and it seemed a pity to waste the sauce (you can't get that with a fork), unless you get some bread to soak up the yummy sauces.

Overall, we were happy with our visit. Price is $$, but seemed reasonable for the Annapolis area.

Very interesting small plate place with a fairly limited menu. Reviews all raved about the vodka gimlet and I agree. Almost like liquid key lime pie - delicious. My wife and I shared 4 plates - fresh berry salad with cucumber, chicken meatballs, fried Brussels sprouts, and shrimp fra diavolo. All were good, nothing spectacular but creative and fun. Sauces were generally better than the main items. Fra diavolo needed to be spicier and fresh pasta would have been an improvement. I'm nit picking though and would recommend Level and will go back. Good layout and atmosphere too.

Had a fee unexpected hours with out kids or husband and decided to have a cocktail here!!! So happy i did! The softshell dish and tuna tar tar were amazing but lets talk about the gimlet. That alone is worth the trip!!! Will be back for a date note, i sat at the bar and they were amazing as well!! Its a small plates kinda place so a girls nite here would be perfect!

Levels is a small plate restaurant that serves unique, traditional and out of this world food. The menu was diverse, anything from seafood, poultry, vegan, beef, etc. Service was great and very attentive.

We were going to Ramshead for a show and were looking for something new in the West St. area. We have walked past Level in the past and I was eager to try it out. Our party of 4 showed up at 6:00 and headed straight up the stairs to the 2nd floor bar where there were seats just waiting for us. My wife and I prefer to sit at the bar normally and they have 2 levels for people like us. The food was great, most everything we had was well thought out with flavors absolutely playing off each other. Our favorites were the brussel sprouts (so good we ordered them twice) and the tuna tartare (so incredibly fresh tasting). Other dishes were solid (scallops/salmon/soft shall crab/beets) and look forward to trying more of the choices. Service was top notch & freindly ..... only negatives are that it is loud and hard to hear conversations and their beer selections was small (but good) bottles/cans only w/ nothing on tap. When I asked why it was limited w/ no taps, their response was "this is a cocktail bar" .... odd but OK.
