This is a review of two bedroom time share unit. Hotel grounds were beautiful but our unit (301) was not optimal. Living room did not have a window or any decoration giving it a claustrophobic feel. Bedroom windows were facing the parking lot.
The unit was clean and there was daily cleaning which was satisfactory (they don't do dishes). People at the reception, restaurant and the concierge spoke good English and were friendly. We were there in September which is the peak of the rainy season. It rained every day in the afternoon. However, mornings were very pleasant. It is not a good time of the year to climb volcanoes. However, Antigua has a ton of good restaurants and cafes.
One can walk from to hotel to the city but it is not a pleasant walk. Lots of cars, uneven sidewalks and wet. However, there is a free shuttle from the hotel to the city and back which works very well (10AM-6PM). We also used UBER which is cheap and worked well. In general this a good accommodation for 4 people. It would be too crowded for six people.More
