We were recommended to eat here by the waiter at a bar where we had drinks. The setting is fabulous - prominent position in the square with a nice menu.
I noticed the guy in charge moved a group of people who weren’t eating to ensure he could seat those waiting for a table.
Our waiter was very friendly and guided us through our choices. We should have listened when he warned us that the scallops main course was very small - 4 very small scallops as a main course dish at 260 KN. He was helpful in trying to recommend dishes for the children - either tomato pasta ( which was tasty) or plain chicken and chips.
The Beef Wellington looked delicious but the pastry had quite a soggy bottom. The steak was ok though.
The service was a little off kilter - starter plates not taken away; children’s meals served 20 mins before adults got theirs.
It is a busy restaurant - the main man - assume the owner - seemed uninterested in the customers, apart from getting them in and getting them out as quick as possible.
The setting was lovely, but the customer experience could have been better.
