This is recent history (1991-2) but we were unaware of the hardship and destruction that Dubrovnik endured. The photos of the faces of the men, mostly young, who died in the defense of the city are hard to look at.

This is a small but important and very moving exhibition dedicated to the lives of those who fought to defend the city during the siege of Dubrovnik. Essential viewing.

I found this extremely sad and very moving. Made all the more poignant after seeing the graves in the main cemetary. I was saddened by some British people talking loudly and laughing while in the memorial room, such a shame people feel its ok to act in this way in such a poignant space.

This is a very small exhibition but still worth seeing.

It is a relatively cheap exhibition that won't take too much of your time.

There is also another section of the building you can see that would also hold some interest for some.

The museum is dedicated to those who fought to defend Dubrovnik. It is small but the guide provided much history and insight to the war. Interesting visit in the old town of Dubrovnik
