“Loved it !!!!!”
Reviewed 22 November 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We recently stayed in this apartment for 1 week in October. Its situated on a hill but only a short walk into the old town. The walk a back can be a pull but is well worth it as the views are to die for.We could not fault the apartment at all,it was very clean, had a lovely comfy bed and had everything you could want.Sylvana and Boris are the owners and live next door and are a lovely couple, always available for anything you want to know but they are not intrusive. We loved it !

“Amazing apartment with great views”
Reviewed 20 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Really enjoyed our week long stay in Residence Eterne in Dubrovnik. Our hosts were very helpful in answering our enquiries in advance which helped form our decision to stay there.

On arrival we were shown around the apartment and how to use the various appliances etc.

The apartment was very clean, quite spacious and had amazing views from the verandah.

There is a supermarket located very near to the property.

We would definitely recommend this apartment.

“adelightful well appointed apartment close to Old Town”
Reviewed 13 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We stayed in tis very nice apartment with a terrace overlooking the sea for 5 days in June. Situated up fairly high it is about 10 minutes or so walk in to the Old Town. (It's also 200 plus steps to the beach road which is fine going down but good exercise returning! And there are a lot of steps in the town The owners live next door, speak English and are very nice and extremely helpful and accommodating. The apartment is very comfortable, with all "mod cons" including dish washer and washing machine.
Next door there is a small super market and then a bar. The walk in to town and back is not onerous - just sufficient for post dinner pleasant walk. There is a "beach" straight down the steps but very stony so bring rubber swimming shoes. Note - most beeches are like this and not conducive to beach life!
There is a nice shaded terrace - great for that pre dinner drink.
Overall well recommended

“A lovely hillside apartment”

We enjoyed a lovely week in this apartment. It is situated on a hillside with wonderful views of Dubrovnik and the sea. The walk up the hill was not a problem for us and you can walk the longer way up the slope if you can't face the 200 odd steps. The old town is just a 10 minute walk away - perfect for working off a dinner after an evening meal!

The apartment is a great size with a kitchen/living area and separate bedroom. We were a couple and with the additional bed being a sofa bed in the living area, it would perhaps have felt a little cramped if there were 3 of us staying. The apartment was very clean and well equipped with everything you could need during a self-catering break. The owners also made sure we had some essentials - washing up liquid, washing powder, toilet rolls ... The supermarket next door is also very handy and the outdoor seating area was a lovely space to enjoy some al-fresco dining.

The owners live next door but we hardly saw them during our stay so they are not intrusive - however they are on-hand if you have any practical queries or concerns regarding the apartment. For more 'touristy' advice you will need to go to the tourist office. Ensure that you have confirmed your arrival time with them in advance of your stay so that when you arrive you know where/when to meet them and you can be sure that the apartment is ready.

We really enjoyed our stay here and would certainly recommend this apartment. We were sad to say goodbye to it!

“Lovely”

The apartment is in a great location with amazing views of the old town and Lokrum. It is a 10 minute walk down the hill to all of the restaurants and bars and 5 minutes down the steps to Banje beach. We preferred Sv Jakov beach which was quieter, had clearer water and stunning views - this was only a 20 minute walk away as well.

The cable car station and bus stop were very close so you couldn't really ask for more in terms of location. The road outside is quite busy but doesn't disturb you at night but it does get quite wet when it is raining.

The supermarket next door was very handy and was well equipped and there is also the Biker Cafe if you fancy a very local drink - they were very well behaved and quiet for Bikers!.

The apartment itself was perfect and had absolutely everything you would need. The bed was super comfy and the shower was very powerful. My tip would be to go in when the light on the boiler was off as then you were guaranteed it would be hot.

Silvana and Boris were lovely but my only gripe would be that there was very little communication before we arrived. I had to ask for the address of the apartment as the directions given weren't detailed enough.

I mentioned 2-3 times that we were arriving at 7 am on the ferry from Bari but still I received an email shortly before our arrival asking what time we would be there. We also weren't aware that the apartment wouldn't be available until 1pm as dragging large bags around the town is not my idea of fun.

The apartment was made available earlier than 1pm in the end and we were allowed to leave our bags outside but after having had no sleep on the overnight ferry we were ready to crash and it was a bit unexpected having to wait.

Overall though I would say we were extremely happy with the apartment and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
