“A great and quiet air conditioned base in a lovely city with nearby beaches”
Reviewed 21 October 2015 for a stay in September 2015

I spent a week in Apartment Jacqueline with two old friends to mark our forthcoming 50th birthdays. Ivo was very accommodating, spending lots of time with me when I arrived to describe a city he clearly loves. His restaurant tip Lady Pi Pi, was a great choice for our first night (al fresco barbecue food right beside the city walls). I'm so pleased I did as he suggested, spending the afternoon at the nearby beach until my friends arrived. The water was lovely.

Two of the three bedrooms are really spacious, and the air con was a much needed luxury after spending the day sightseeing. The apartment is nicely furnished and wonderfully quiet. Despite being in the smaller, non air conditioned bedroom, I slept very well every night.

I'm glad I did as Ivo suggested and used the very good value airport bus, which drops you off minutes from the flat. He recommended some larger supermarkets a bus ride away, where I stocked up on essentials, but the two smaller supermarkets near the flat are ideal also.

I would love to return to Dubrovnik. So much more to see and do!

“A wonderful base for a fantastic holiday”
Reviewed 19 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We've just returned from a fortnight in this property and couldn't have been more pleased. Ivo was very friendly and put himself out to be helpful and informative. He and his wife are a great advert for Croatia and its culture.

The apartment is comfortable and well equipped. Conveniently close to the bustling old city, it is set in a peaceful location, and the air conditioning was welcome, with temperatures in the 30s, even in September.

“Excellent apartment, lovely owner”

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Dubrovnik staying in this lovely, spacious and centrally located apartment. Despite being only a few minutes walk away from the Pile Gate and all that the old town has to offer, the apartment was extremely quiet with a lovely view over a garden. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped with a kettle, toaster, coffee maker, washing machine, air conditioning and all the crockery and cutlery you could want. There were plenty of towels (very useful as it was very hot while we were there) and even the hand wash was provided.
The bedrooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. The TV had many English channels if you wanted to keep up with the news. The owner very generously left us some home grown vegetables, juice, wine and sweets and presented us with some chocolates on our departure. There were loads of leaflets and maps in the apartment which proved very useful in finding our way around. All in all, I could not fault this apartment and would not hesitate in recommending it to others.
