We had a fantastic time in Dubrovnik. Eddie is a great guy, his tips for places to go and places to eat are invaluable, you should definitely try out the where he tells you to. The room was perfect for us for a week, the views from the sea view rooms are incredible! The apartments are right by the old city walls and even closer is where all the busses stop. It’s so easy to get about, whether it’s island hoping, exploring the old town, kayaking, swimming. If you are foodies you’re spoilt for choice. We highly recommend staying at Eddies and will hopefully one day go back

Upon arrival at 10am we were told to come back at 2 but we could leave our bags in the common area and could not check in early which was kind of a bummer. However we returned at 2 and Edi sat down with us and talked with us about the city, what to do, where to eat and what to be careful of while in the city. We went to one of the restaurants he recommended and dropped his name to the owner and were treated very well at dinner. I found Edi to be extremely friendly and helpful. He then walked us to our room and showed us the safety box, television with cable, sound proof windows and air conditioning and that everything was functioning well. We felt safe in this location.

Our room was beautiful and had a wonderful view out the back. It is close to water but the location is not great for swimming due to lack of beach which is common for the area. The room was clean and comfortable. It is a very short walk to the city gates, food and bus/taxi pickup.

Good location to the old city. If you are lucky enough to get a seaview room then you probably, like your stay. If no sea view, then probably not. The room is extremely tiny, uncomfortable bed, poor WiFi reception and amenities left from previous guests. When you arrive, you walk into the laundry room and it feels like a youth hostel. Eddie can be charming when he wants to or aggressive when you question why no sea view room. You can request a sea view but you only get if lucky enough to arrive on a day one is available. They do not block in advance. Buyer beware.
