The hotel sits on the side of a cliff and as such it does not reach street level. The lobby is Level 7 about two stories below the street and parking is limited but not may have cars at least when we were there. My wife and I were celebrating an upcoming major anniversary which I mentioned on booking. Instead of putting us in the main hotel, we were given an apartment that was separate on basically on the 8th Level still below the street. It was simply first class. The bathroom was unbelievable from the toilet to the multi spray body shower. They also had a nice bottle of champagne on ice waiting in the room. We had a private terrace overlooking the bay. The hotel is away from the old city but we didn't want to hassle with parking so took cabs. A bit pricey and the next time we went out we took a bus which is a bit of a walk to the bus stop from the hotel. But on this walk we discovered the Promenade which is at sea level back of the hotel with lots of small shops and outdoor restaurants. In our tour of Dubrovnik we didn't find a similar setting so it turned out that once we had seen the Old City we were content to stay near the hotel. We would recommend the Restaurant Lapad just off the Promenade near the fountain. No view but good food. The sea level and restaurant are on the minus 2 Level, 9 floors below the lobby. You have to swap elevators halfway down. You can dive right into the Adriatic from the hotel sidewalk. The water is crystal clear and people were swimming in early May. See my photos.

Hotel More is run by professional, friendly staff who go well out of their way to make your experience with them truly unforgettable. Situated on cliff edging in Lapad, the hotel has its own out of this world, contemporary Cave Bar. Well worth a visit even if you're not staying at the hotel.

The staff are something else, from the chambermaids to the management. Nothing is too much trouble. They are polite, courteous and always smiling.

All meals are home made with love. Exceptional value and extremely tasty. Silver service restaurant with gold service waiters and waitresses.

My partner and I have visited the hotel on many occasions and we're always treated with utter respect and care. We will be visiting Hotel More for many years to come.

A special hello to Becky, Nikica and Vlademere. We will see you again soon.

We stayed at this lovely boutique hotel for six nights. On our arrival we were greeted by a lovely, bubbly member of reception staff who was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was not yet ready so decided to take a seat on the outside terrace and have a drink. Wow breathtaking views across the Lapad bay. It's when you sit here you realise the beauty of the location of this hotel. We described the hotel as being upside down! With reception on the top followed by the rooms staggered below.
A member of staff took us and our bags to our room, which we had paid extra for a balcony and sea view. So pleased that we did, although we have no idea what other rooms were like, but happy with the stunning panoramic view from our room. Room itself was average size, with lovely bathroom, robes, slippers and toiletries. There is a safe and minibar (not outrageously expensive), our only disappointment but was not going to ruin our holiday, was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
Staff at the hotel were friendly and efficient, especially at the cave bar area where you can sit on lovely padded cabana style loungers in the sunshine and have access to the lovely clear water of the sea.
The dimming pool on the fifth floor is adequate if somewhat small, but very refreshing and again clean. There are sun beds at the pool area which is accessed via a sun terrace accommodating four sun loungers and a hot tub for general use, whilst sitting upstairs, there is a facility you can use where staff will bring you refreshments of your choice, all served by another friendly waiter, You cannot get away from the gorgeous views wherever you are at to hotel, which brings us to the restaurant on the second floor. There is a terrace outside which has glass panels where you can sit and eat breakfast, each itself consists of a large variety of fruit, yoghurts, lovely breads, pastries, hot combinations and eggs to ordered of your choice. There is fresh juice, bottles of water and prosseco which is a lovely start to the day!
We ate in the restaurant one night of our holiday and the food was very good along with the attentive service too.
There is a promenade walking into an area with restaurants and places to drinks which takes about ten minutes to walk, further along you will find the bus stop (number 6) which takes you into Dubrovnik town, be prepared it's very busy and you are packed liked sardines, not the best experience but there is always an option of a taxi upon your return, in my opinion a much wiser choice!
We would recommend to hotel for a very chilled out break and would return, although there appears to be some gorgeous places to visit in others parts of Croatia, which we, I'm sure, will be doing for a further chilled out break next year.

Room Tip: Definitely pay the extra for a sea view with a balcony view, so worth it

Had a fabulous time in Dubrovnik. This hotel is beautiful with amazing views. Its quite quirky with all the little nooks in the cliff, all different levels and of course the fantastic Cave Bar. Very comfortable seats / sun loungers due to massive padding used. Breakfast was plentiful and Prosecco much appreciated! Although did find the clearing of the tables and tea/coffee service a little slow. Didn't use the bus as we either walked along the pedestrian sea-front walk to Lapad or grabbed a cab. As I was in a larger group we booked the Executive Suite and this was an excellent size which worked perfectly for us. A few grumbles no tea / coffee making facility and on the private terrace I do not understand why the hotel has not erected some sort of trellis or bush to keep it more private, as there was a road and steps directly to the right.
I wouldn't really recommend this hotel to anyone with walking difficulties.
Reception staff were very friendly and efficient and overall a great stay at Hotel More. Thank you.

Hotel is situated in a beautiful location overlooking the Lapad bay so sea view rooms are well worth paying for. Rooms are spotless with very comfortable beds. The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. The reception upon your check in gives you plenty of useful information and is always willing to help with anything you need with a smile. The restaurant serves excellent food and the Cave bar apart from its natural and unique beauty is a great place to watch the sunset and drink great cocktails. We highly recommend and will definitely return.
