A hidden gem at the top of a hill. Quiet and relaxing. It houses a fantastic Roman mosaic and watch out for the dangerous Tortoises! Beautiful place to visit and friendly staff.

Pula is built on a hill, of which their is this historic monastery..requires steps/road access to the foot of the monastery, plus another set of steps to the base hill

This is a tranquil and lovely place, 10 KN to get in, but you get a free postcard with it. The cloister is stunning and wonderful to simply sit, cool down and enjoy the peace of this ancient site of worship. The actual church is huge and also very beautiful, a small mosaic was discovered under one of the floors and reveals that on this site there once was a grand Roman villa.

I love visiting Franciscan churches wherever I go, my uncle is a monk! Loved this place as it was simple and humble like the life. The turtles in the middle were insane I spent about an hour sat in the shade watching them!! A must visit when I Pula!!
