Try this hotel. It has high standard, the best we had in Ukraine, from Kiev via Kehrson to Sevastopol. A large room, very good food in the restaurant and good service. The hotel has an old colonial style. Like Raffles Hotel in Singapore from the eighties.
We stayed on 1 st floor. The rooms on 2nd and 3rd floor have balconies with a view to The Black Sea!
You should also try the special restaurant of the hotel. Here you will find a very professional waiter, Vitary Koshevoy. He is discret and gives good advice about your meal. In perfect English! Not a matter of course!
Vitary is also available as your personal guide and can drive you around in Sevastopol in his own car or in yours. We did not have time for a guided tour, but his historic interest about the Crimean war, his good English and nice behaviour will give you an excellent opporunity to see Sevastopol and suuroundings.
In a couple of years we will travel back, but this time to Simferopol, take a taxi to Sevastopol and Hotel Dolphin and take the freighter "Heroes of Sevastopol" to Istanbul, as we did in July. A wonderful journey!More
