A very frustrating visit. The prices here are a little more expensive than restaurants which are much, much better. The risotto had very strange mushrooms, which resembled slugs for some reason; basically a sloppy mess with even sloppier mushrooms. I'm not sure if they were overlooked or if the type of mushroom was just strange, but they were very unpleasant. The ravioli was very bland and all that could be tasted was mozzarella, which completely overpowered the dish. The only slight saving grace was the salmon tagliatelle, in which the salmon was very tasty and fresh but generally was also bland; this was one of the most expensive dishes on the menu and it really didn't warrant it. The restaurant setting is very nice and pleasant, with lampposts and a foundation in the middle of the room. You can also watch them cook the pizzas in the pizza oven. Unfortunately even this was ruined by unruly children running around and screaming, this was they dangerous as they darted in and out of waiters carrying food! The worst part though was the dire service. We received our food rather promptly and then that was it... ignored for 50 minutes, long after we had finished nobody came the collect the plates or check on us. Yet it was not because the staff were busy, as they were faffing around adjusting table clothes and cleaning the already clean tables. Lacking attention and attentiveness. Eventually we had to get up to pay our bill, which was a shame as we wanted a dessert but were just so frustrated and tired by this point. As tourists with money to spend, I am surprised by this lack of care. Would definitely not visit again.
