We were very happy with the place. Friendly staff and very clean. The breakfast was minimalist, but sufficient for us. The front building (reception) is heritage and doesn't look much appealing, but behind there is a new building with plenty rooms.

Located on a quiet street away from the hustle-bustle, yet very close to the bustling night market and river front. Very good breakfast, lovely rooms and a good wifi. Whats more, very helpful staff. Avoid the ground floor rooms - though the upper floors dont have much of a view, they are better off especially when it rains... its also very close to the road where the alms giving ceremony happens in the morning - convenient to reach there early morning.

Room Tip: avoid the ground floor especially the ones around the central courtyard

This hotel was booked by our tour and we stayed here 3 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The bedroom was a good size, modern with lovely dark wood decor, clean and a nice bathroom. Breakfast was very good and was served in a very peaceful courtyard in the centre of the hotel, fruit, bread and eggs made to order.

The location was perfect with the main street of restaurants just round the corner leading down to the night market, royal palace museum and Phi Si hill. In addition if you get up to see the monks collecting their alms do not bother to go up to the Main Street, which gets rather crowded with tourists, as their route goes down past the hotel and along a much quieter street where only a few local women are kneeling solemnly on the pavement offering sticky rice to the monks.

Staff are extremely friendly and polite and we were offered complimentary ice cold tea upon arrival. We would not have wanted to stay anywhere else, we couldn't fault it.

My wife and I had 5 nights at the villa Saykham in Luang Prabang and we would recommend it to any traveller looking for good accommodation at an affordable price. The breakfast is modest but plentiful, the staff are VERY friendly and the manager Ms Soudavanh (Thommavong) gave us lots of good advice and she is extremely efficient at her job.
The Internet is a little slow but in Asia that is not unusual - the location is very central and close to the Mekong River, where there are lots of cafes and tourist attractions close by - the bakery cafe is one such place that we could recommend.

Room Tip: We had B2 and it was very quiet

Situated in heart of the old town itis ideally placed to explore the towm. Small hotel only 12 rooms traditionally furnished with balcony iutside room door to sit and enjoy quiet. Next door to a temple need to be prepared fpr bells at 6am. The monks go down street outside each morning and worth getting up for. Rooms have beautiful wooden floors and are very comfortable. Breakfast served until 0930 in courtyardi. Fresh eggs cooked on demsnd staff are pleasant and helpful. Much bdtter than staying in big chains
