We stayed two nights and its central location was extremely useful. We were recommended it by another hotel manager as i wanted to try out another hotel on the second visit to LP.
The reception staff are helpful and were willing to show me different rooms. This property actually has seven different buildings : we came to know about it later when talking to the owner on the next day. It is a pity that we were not shown the other buildings.
We had the Riverside rooms which face the riverside. Slightly noisy at times. Comfortable. There were minor points like the plug points are under the side tables and one has to bend to get at them. More imp, these had become loose from use, so to get one's plug to stay was an achievement.
The room has a balcony. The entry to the balcony has a lock. The room itself has a glass inner door and an outer wooden door. Both doors have no lock or staying close mechanism. The magnets fitted dont work. So when there was a heavy windstorm each afternoon, the doors would open marginally. Night time security was therefore a concern as anyone can walk around the balcony door.
The breakfast at the riverside cafe was consistent - juice, eggs, fruits etc. There were hardly any residents as off season had begun.

This rating is given bearing in mind the off season rate we got. I think that hotels in LP over charge. A similar hotel in another country would have many more facilities at the high season rate.
