We booked the hotel through a travel package and werent sure how the hotel will be. The check-in was swift and smooth. Although the place is a bit noisy with their in-house club, the rooms were cozy and had Indian TV channels (which we liked:)) They also had a big and tasty breakfast spread- which was again moslty Indian. And somehow most guests there were also Indian- not that I had a problem with that.. All in all we had a great time there and were really tired when we came back in the evening- good place to relax and total value for money!

It is located in the center of Dubai shopping area.Everything is close by with in walking distance. The rooms are comfortable with good room service. The breakfast spread is bad. Same stuff everyday and a nightmare for veggies as Non-veg food stuffs are clubbed together with veg food. Same fruits everyday. The hotel's nightclub is noisy and is a notorious pick up point.

I had been to Dubai the very first time along with my Family in January 2009 and stayed at " The Highland Hotel". It was a fabulous vacation for one week we had in Dubai. dubai known for multicultural people, great respect to tourists of all countries, world famous Malls, Deserts and The Burj Khalifa.

The Highland Hotel is located in Bur Dubai, one of the famous and most busy area of Dubai.Since we are Indians we enjoyed thegreat accessibility to Indian Restaurants,Shopping Malls, Carrefour, Dubai Creek, Dubai Museum, Starbucks,Sheikh Zayed Road and Commercial Banks.

The hotel in itself has good food in different restaurants and the buzzling Nightlife at the Dance Club. The staff were very courteous for all our querier pertaining right from travel, food to City information. They went the extra mile to give us more information aboud Dubai for us to enjoy our holidays.

Today after one year I am so happily married and live just opposite to the Highland Hotel along with my husband and cherish all the memories I had during my holidays in Dubai.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wish to travel to one of the best city in the world- DUBAI.
