Reasonably priced, excellent food right next to the plaza, great deal for lunch and always a veggie option. Tried a few pizzas and a couple pasta plates, all very good.

I can't believe people are complaining about the food in this restaurant! We had the slow cooked pork and the Peruvian slow cooked beef. Both great. Service was very good too. Aranjuez 2013 Cab great too. Highly recommended!

Meals were so good that we ended up coming three times! The bolognaise pasta deserves a special mention, as was the artisan linguine with prawns. They have a special lunch menu for 28 Bs, with many options for mains and excellent desert! Amazing value for money!

This is my second time here. I love the decor, ambiance, and the service last time was really friendly and great. Tonight we were greeted without a smile and met resistance when we asked to move tables in an empty restaurant. So, not a great start. The other problem is they aren't ready to serve when clients arrive. The first time I was here I had the osobuco. The flavor was great except it was cold in the middle.

This time we were told upon ordering that the pasta sauce for two dishes wasn't ready yet. And, guess what, osobuco also wasn't available because the meat wasn't ready yet. They also didn't have sparkling water or the second choice--Sprite. To not have mineral water at a restaurant in Bolivia is just nuts, since it's the second most popular drink in this country. But to not have pasta sauce or other menu items ready at an Italian restaurant when guests sit down to eat--it's just poor planning. And other details--We were six and they only brought 5 pieces of bread, etc.

The food is ultimately quite good, but its quality was dampened by our overall experience. Our server the second time was not friendly and never cracked a smile except when she had to break the news that the dishes we wanted we couldn't have. The atmosphere and food might be worth it--after all, I went back a second time--but expect to be flexible and don't expect your waitress to smile.

Still deciding if the third try is worth it.

You must visit this place. Venetian food at Bolivian prices. We had the Cannelloni and rocket pizza, both to die for. The tiramisu for desert was the best I have ever tasted. We will be back for sure. What a wonderful place. Fantastic service, beautiful surrounding, and the most wonderful food in Sucre. Do visit!!!
