Parking is a big issue but this is not unique to Savas, but the whole area near U of M campus. Once you find parking, if it’s paid, plan on at least 2 hours because you will wait to get into Savas, especially at night. The seating hostesses are professional but could be more friendly to guests as they wait. I definitely recommend you call ahead if you are able as this is not a very big restaurant. Started with the ahi tuna poke. The tuna was good though slightly fishy and fatty but the taro chips were excellent. Our entrees included the black bean burger with avocado, Mahi mahi fish tacos and the hippi bowl (a vegan dish). The black bean burger was very good, dense but fairly moist and well seasoned with a little sirracha kick. The hippi bowl has a light dressing that really compliments the ingredients. The fish tacos were blackened and not friend so it was substantial but not heavy. Overall, good food and worth the wait and trouble with parking.

Stopped in for an early dinner before a concert and enjoyed the meal. Service is good and atmosphere lively. The bar scene is really fun. The salmon and rice bowl is delicious as is the Cuban sandwich. The burgers are also good but not great. Good beer and wine list.

I’ve been to Sava’s several times and I’m a huge fan. It’s an excellent option for happy hour and dinner. The drinks on the cocktail menu are also really good. I very much enjoyed the tuna steak on the appetizers/small plates menu. Literally everything on the menu is unique and good. Can’t go wrong with Sava’s for anything from a snack, drinks, dinner, couples night, family, or friends.

I had a large salad here, and it was tasty and filling. The service was pleasant, and the wait for the food was a reasonable length. If the weather allows, sit outside. It's lovely.

We went for Sunday brunch. They offer a nice buffet , consistently renewing the food trays and with an interesting assortment of choices. Menu also available. The food is quite good, not outstanding, but the service was very solid. Comfortable place, chock full of Wolverines and their parents. Would return.
