Super clean very nice hotel.very friendly.breakfast could be better if I had any complains that would be the one but I'm still good with the fresh fruit yogurt and bagles...its super clean very nice place to stay.will stay here again like every time I come to au gres...best hotel I have stayed at in a very long time..its great would rate 10 stars if possible...

This hotel is a renovated Rt 66 type MOTEL in Michigan. Most people don't know the difference between a motel and a hotel. A MOTEL is the classic strip room hotel off off the state highways of the 40's thru the 60's. You park your car in front of the door. Hence..."MOTEL." The Edmonds have completed renovated this hotel and it was great! Up to date shower, Plasma TV, Dish etc. Breakfast in the morning. Sawbuck tables in front of each room to relax. Cedar swings in front of the rooms. It was great. But understand it is a MOTEL! For around $100 taxes included a great value, clean, safe and NOSTALGIC. I will be back. Thanks for a great stay.
Excellent place to stay, immaculately clean and very friendly. Wife and I were very happy we decided to stay here on our trip visiting from Oregon. If only every place was like this. The place was nicely updated, and very quiet.

Great job on the remodeling of this hotel. VERY clean, quiet, comfortable stay for our family! Love that the rooms were carpet free. Staff was friendly on the phone and in person. Will definitely be back.
This motel changed hands years ago and the new owners transformed it from a dump into a very nice place to stay. They replaced everything there accept the wall studs, so it is like a new motel. I have never personally stayed there, but hundreds of my charter fishing clients have and nobody has had anything but good things to say about their stay there.
