What a great hotel. The reception desk staff is very professional and extremely friendly. The bar is really good and the atmosphere is nice. The restaurant is always good and many locals eat at the restaurant as well. The rooms are very nice, extremely clean and the bed is very comfortable. To make an extremely nice hotel better their spa is top of the line. I just had one of the best massages ever. The pool area is big and spacious and very well maintained. A great pool bar. When you arrive you can tell this is a resort hotel and very well managed. I highly recommend the hotel.

It is probably a bit expensive compared to brand new Marriott and Radisson nearby hotels, but considering its premium location it could make sense the price tag even for a holiday season.

Pro:
Beautiful indoor and outdoor decoration
Room in the tower was spaceful with a great view.
Restaurant staff friendly
Good food variety and tasty both for breakfast and lunch.
Pool areas and activities for children was good.
Frigobar variety was good.

Cons:
I did complain twice about the room phone not working. It was not fixed at all during our stay.
No parking valet and lack of enough parking spaces.
During check out, I called (from the hallway phone) the bellboy for assistance. After 30 min no one showed up. Had to bring our stuff by ourselves.
Basically, I can say, there is room for improvement with customer service overall, taking in consideration that it is a 5 star hotel.

The Hotel Camino Real is well located ( right in front of the principle shopping mall of Bolivia) in Santa Cruz. The hotel is well kept, clean and full of friendly people willing to help. The internet works well and the their food is really good. Excellent Breakfast.
