We stayed here after our 1am arrival in Santa Cruz. The hotel arranged for us to be picked up at the airport and brought to the hotel. The room was big with a nice view of the city. The free buffet breakfast was better than most Hampton inn breakfast with fresh tropical fruit. We had a dinner at the hotel's restaurant and enjoyed the meal. Most guests appeared to be on business.
The general hotel is decent for a short stay.
However, I was on the 10th floor in a ‘king’ room. This was connected to the two adjoining rooms. Very thin walls and constant moving of furniture from the 11th floor dining room meant poor nights sleep. This was improved when I was upgraded to an 8th floor corner room which was much better.
The breakfast was not great and after the first morning I decided to eat out.
The staff are fantastic and they are the reason I have not scored this lower.
It was recommended by a colleague to me and recommend this hotel to other guests.
Very nice place, clean and comfortable, very well located to my needs and great food to dinner and lunch on the roof top restaurant. Have a nice staff.
The view from the 11th floor restaurant makes the dining experience great. The rooms are very spacious. The staff from check-in to the restaurant were great. I wish all the Hampton's in America were at least this nice.
Close to the airport and business center you can not beat this place. Breakfast is great, transportation, modern urban rooms, elite group of well spoken employees.
From BERMAN bell boy who answer my call when I needed to book my pick up, to the wonderful team of CHRISTIAN, EARLMAN AND GREGORY from the night shift which they checked us in so late because our flight was delayed . To ANGELO which he was efficient and spoke great ENGLISH just like the rest of the staff.
The HAMPTON by Hilton is the place to stay.
The staff provides you with maps, give you any information you might need.
The food is great, the food and beverage ran by Tania Garcia is amazing. Definitively if I could bring this team with me to US, I would do it in a hard bit. Gracias to all for a short but great stay.
You would be so happy going to bed every night after a hard day of work in the very comfortable bed and newly renovated rooms.
You gentleman know what hospitality is.
