I stayed here with my friend as part of a package tour. It was the 3 star option and value for what we spent. The hotel is located on the edge of town, so to get to most places you will need to spend a small amount on a tuk tuk, but the hotel itself was comfortable and the staff were responsive to most of our requests (eg extra pillow). The hotel was clean and the room was also well sized. The bathroom was tired and a bit mouldy and the toilet didn't have a lid on the cistern, but the water was hot and plentiful.
With the hotel catering to tour groups, there were a couple of noisy nights where other travellers were slamming doors and chatting past midnight. There was also a problem with noise in the room from next door, as there was an adjoining room door, with a wide gap at the bottom, which allowed the sound to travel easily. I ended up plugging the gap with one of the gowns provided in the room.
Breakfast was provided with the room and this was plentiful and adequate, we also had a tasty lunch in the restaurant on the day we arrived. If you are after a western style menu, then this isn't the place to go.
The pool was big and clean.
Wi-Fi worked in the room, most of the time.More
