Stayed here a week (kept extending b/c it was so great) and loved it. The value is outstanding, as the rooms are around $15 USD (60,000 real) and they're clean, have Air-con and a fan, TV w/ plenty of channels (normally don't care, but watched it one day while really ill, most likely from food poisoning), separate shower from toilet (no showering right over the toilet!), and there's a pool, free breakfast, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. It's w/in walking distance from Pub Street and the night markets, but not so close that it's noisy. Definitely, definitely recommend staying here!

It took me some time to find this page on tripadvisor since the hotel name that I know is King Boutique hotel, it even stated so on some of the booking websites.

Anyway, this hotel is strategically situated near the pub street, but not that close to catch the noises. It's a around 5 minutes walk actually, or if you're not much of a walker there's a plenty tuktuk driver that will be glad to take you. There's some sort of dining area in the road near the hotel too, but we didn't have the chance to try it.

The room rate is very cheap! And it includes a swimming pool, wifi and breakfast. The room were spacious, there's no elevator but I won't complain remembering the price. Other reviews states about a free tuktuk service which unfortunately we don't get, we do ask for one pick up service from our bus station, but according to the staff we crossed path with the one who is picking us up. Too bad, but they do have the intention though.

The TV (it's a cable tv, wow) and AC and the beds were okay, the only things lacking is maybe the bathroom. It's also and new but the one we get needs some tinkering, the shower handle were broken, the drain were clogged, and the bathroom door can not be locked.
But yet again, for this price who am I to complain?

We chose this guesthouse because of the fantastic reviews and the fact it had a pool. It did not disappoint! The staff were all just so friendly and obviously wanted to be as welcoming and helpful as possible. The two tuk tuk drivers associated with the guesthouse were both so sweet and we enjoyed our journeys with them (we had a beer with one of them the evening before he took us to Angkor Wat!). There was a really friendly vibe here and in the evenings staff and guests would sit out by the pool and mingle.

Our room was clean and the mattress was very comfortable indeed. We got good WiFi in the room. It was very quiet at night. The guest house was maybe a five minute walk from Pub Street and very near the night market.

I would highly recommend this place - thank you so much to all the staff for making us feel so welcome!

If we weren't on a time frame we would gladly stay longer. We got a free transfer from the bus station to the hotel, with the hotel owner contacted me to arrange after I had booked online (a first in my travels!)

Room was lovely, we had a twin which had two small doubles with memory foam mattresses. Lovely bathroom.

Pool is lovely and well maintained and on each floor there's also a communal balcony which is nice to sit on.

A basic breakfast is included which is of good quality.

Location is very good, a ten minutes walk to pub street and close to the main road which has banks, shops etc.

Finally the staff are so lovely. This is what made our stay so special. They always greeted you when you came by, were happy to help with everything and are just so friendly. They asked us to join them for beers by the pool one night so we happily obliged. It's a family run business and they take pride in their hotel.

Highly recommend!!!

We stayed for four nights in low season. The hotel was nearly fully booked so we didn't great a great room- bottom floor with a window that looked out onto the kitchen.
The room was good value for money. Tv, air con, ensuite bathroom with hot shower- weird problem with bugs though. Not sure whether they were tiny cockroaches or beetles but i had to remove a lot of them from the room.
The pool is salt water and really clean- and a great social area to talk to other guests.
The wifi is really fast, one of the best i've had on my travels, and the connection was excellent in our room, but other guests on the upper floors said the wifi didn't reach their rooms that well.
The restaurant is pretty good, and everything you order or take out of the fridge in the lobby is put on your tab. The staff are very friendly as well.
Would recommend to all types of travellers- the price suits a backpacker budget and it's a nice enough place for families or couples looking for a relaxing stay.
