I stayed here for a few days, and have had a wonderful accommodation.

Value for money is great. Staff were very respectful and kind.

Shoutout to the couple: Sam and Theavy. They manage and own the property, yet they are very humble, caring, respectful, and sweet.

Again, itโ€™s highly recommended when you visit Siem Reap!

I stayed here in May-June 2013 with a 3 other girlfriends while volunteering at the Build Your Future Today Center for GlobeMed (sidenote: if you're interested in philanthropic opportunities in Siem Reap, definitely check out BFT). Anyways, Sam So and his wife are some of the nicest people we met in Siem Reap (although the Khmer in general are very friendly and welcoming). Rooms were great and relatively cheap for 4 students. Being girls traveling alone, we all felt very safe at the guesthouse. Someone was always awake and monitoring the front desk 24 hours. The staff were very helpful in recommending places to eat, helping arrange outings/tours, arranging bikes for us, and just in general making sure we were staying safe and telling us where not to go. I had a great time at this family-run guesthouse and will definitely return in the future!

My second stay here with Sam So GH @ 4 nights, consistent super-friendly, helpful, kindest hospitality received from Mr Sam So Family & staff as did first stay. A most welcoming, peaceful, well-managed guesthouse, set in a quiet, pleasant, secure family compound with nice vibe; a convenient neighborhood located in Wat Bo Village, short riverside walk to Old & Night Markets, Pub Street, Old French Quarter, hip Kandal Village & all traveler necessities.

Reliable complimentary airport, or bus station, pick-up, prompt reservation confirmation emails; super-clean spacious, bright rooms & private bathroom with hot water shower, daily efficient housekeeping, comfy bed, small fridge, perfect air-con or fan, cable tv. Mostly reliable wifi available on property. Tasty breakfast included. Reception desk efficiently arranges traveler services .. Angkor temple guide/driver, tours, onward transport & will happily take care of anything that may need attention in room, just let them know!

As I was here just before Khmer New Year 2017 celebrations, had noticed Mr Sam So & family treated their staff, who would need to work on the holidays, with a day outing to sacred Mount Kulen National Park .. a very kind & thoughtful gesture.

I can happily & highly recommend Sam So GH to budget travelers & will definitely return here to stay on next Siem Reap visit. Family has recently opened 'Sam So Boutique Villa' also in Wat Bo Village, receives equally glowing reviews.

Room Tip: Rooms facing direction of Wat Bo Road larger & brighter

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was a lovely room- fast wifi, basic breakfast, very quiet (tucked off the Main Street), air conditioning, hot water etc.

The family who run the Guesthouse are the kindest, most welcoming people and their children are adorable! They are so willing to help with anything you need and even offer a free airport transfer to the Guesthouse when you arrive in Siem Reap. It was a lovely touch after a long day of travelling.

It's about a 20 minute tuk tuk away from the airport and a 10-15 minute walk into the centre of town. They offer all sorts of tours and transport to accommodate to your needs. I would thoroughly recommend staying here on your visit to Siem Reap!

We stayed in this guesthouse for 5 days. It takes 20 min ride by tuktuk from airport to this place. They offer a free pickup from airport. Reception is very good and the room is quite spacious and clean. In no time we settled in our room comfortably. Breakfast is complimentary. The guesthouse is located near pub street and the market area. This is maintained by a Cambodian family.....nice atmosphere....Mr.Sam so and his wife are very cordial and readily attend to any of our needs. The last day when there was a powercut in the entire area for more than 2/3 hours, they readily provided hot water for our shower etc...I appreciate this guesture. I recommend this place for a pleasant stay for budget travellers.

Room Tip: There is no lift facility.......We resorted to a room in first floor.
