Our (2 couplles) homey stay of 4 days 3 nights in Angkor Secret Garden hotel is such a memorable one. We felt so at home each time returning to the hotel after our sightseeing tours. The moment stepping into the lushly green garden we were like home sweet home. Breakfast served by friendly staffs at the nice restaurant just beside garden is another favourite place to be. Friendly Sun Seng the manager of the hotel make sure our stay is comfortable and will answer all our needs. One may have strange feeling about seeing many families around the hotel. They are the family staffs who are multi tasking in running this homey style hotel together. It is a rare opportunity and privilege to be around with the locals for us to gain more knowledge about the Cambodian life styles, history and cultures. And it is only the Angkor Secret Garden Hotel setting that can provide us this opportunity to mingle around with the locals. My husband even got the opportunity to dance with the friendly members one night of our stays. We are thankful and appreciated all their friendly service.
The location of the hotel is just perfect, situated in a side lane away from the busy main road. Our 3 nights stay were so relaxing having beer at night in the lushly green garden and make new friends staying in the same hotel from out of town friendly Cambodians and visitors from UK.
A 15-20 minutes walk to Pub Street the most popular nightlife hub of the town for tourists. Lots of shops and market place on the main road not far from hotel once out the short distance side lane from the hotel. We met an Australian couple at war museum telling us they pay very high price for better star hotel and realize is not necessary as for most time of the day were out sightseeing tour, hotel only for few hours of sleep. We were glad to share with them this beautiful lushly green hotel which is clean and and cost savings for our Siem Reap trip. We truly enjoy our short stays and will definitely be back to this beautiful lushly green Angkor Secret Garden Hotel that we preferred!

Sun was recommended to us from a friend who had taken his Angkor Wat tour in Feb 2016. We exchanged emails back and forth for a couple of days and set a day of when we would go. He was promptly at our hotel at 9am as agreed and incredibly friendly and welcoming. We got into his van (air conditioned which is a must on hot days in Cambodia!) and headed out for the day.

We visited three temples (Angkor Wat, Ta Phrom, and Bayon) for the day and spent few hours at each, which is more than enough time. He brought us to a lunch spot during the day which had a great outdoor area of hammocks that we laid in for a while. It was a nice break in between the first two and last temple. The food was good, not the amazing side of the road food you get, but still very good.

He is incredibly well spoken, funny and intelligent. He was able to answer every question we threw his way and never missed a beat. We had great conversation about culture and life in Cambodia and learned a lot about daily life there. Within two days of leaving Cambodia I was already telling other travelers about Sun and telling them to give him a call.

Thank you for the incredible tour, Sun! We had such a wonderful time!!!

This is long overdue but I have to say that Sun was a wonderful guide. He asked us what we expected to see beforehand and made suggestions of our itinerary. So going in we knew what we were going to do. He accommodated special requests and gave us tips for after tour hours with him. His endless supply of cold water and towels came very handy on those hot days.

This was our second experience with this company. Our first was in May of 2014 with my husband and our then four year old. Mr. Bunna Lean was our guide and honestly, he was one of the best part of our trip. The temples are amazing but without a guide, it's hard to get the full picture of what you're looking at. To the untrained eye each temple looks the same. Bunna is very well educated int he history of the temples and painted a magnificent picture of the size and glory of the Khmer empire all the while being extremely patient with our overheated, cranky boy. Water and cold towels were provided after each temple we visited. By the end of the trip I felt we had not only seen the best of the Siem Reap area, but also gained a friend. I was fortunate enough to visit again in January 2017 on a girls trip and was very excited when I learned he was available! His enthusiasm is contagious; he's seen these monuments and structures hundreds of times but was genuinely excited about each carving, temple, and sights along the way. He also did a great job of getting us away from the more traveled spots and getting us off the beaten path. Bunna stopped at many roadside stands for some spectacular local treats; sticky rice, green mango with salt, sugar and chili, fried shrimpy pancake things, and even took us to his sister's fruit stand for some delicious local fruit. Bottom line is ask for Bunna. He's a gem of a human being, one of the best guide's around and I hope we will meet again in the future!

Guide was recommended by a friend who had used him before and he came highly recommended. Speaks good English so it made our tour much more interesting and informative. Knowledge of the historical sites and places to visit is good. He is able to relate history in an interesting manner. Would highly recommend him to others. Friendly and accommodating to our request for change of tour programs.
