The park is neat and well planned. The is a nice trail to the summit that provides a panoramic view of a portion of the city.

Very nice park in the centre of Shenzhen. We went on a week day. Walked up to the statue of Deng. Then went to Lotus Lake. There were some people dancing led by one man, very enjoyable to watch. Park was clean. Felt safe. Easily accessible by Metro, taxi or walking.

It's the very good place where to see the CBD scenery of Futian district, such as the Shenzhen Citizen Center, Shenzhen Mesuem(it's free place to know the Chinese cultures),Sege building (Electronic world), Pinan financial center (the highest building in Shenzhen).

Lianhuacun Park has something for everyone: great place for a morning jog, grassy fields for kite flying, fishing, electric boats, hiking trails, convenient, picturesque rest areas, beautiful landscaping, birders delight, and an incredible view from the top of the hill that gives you a spectacular view to the south (Hong Kong & new PingAn 2000' building); east (Futian District's KK100 building) & west (towards Nanshan).

It has so many pathways and because of its duo hills it's easy to get confounded as to where you are, but after your 3rd or 4th time there one should have it down pat. Visiting its 3 lakes is a must, as is going to the top of the highest hill where there's a large statue of Deng - the Premier who began China's march to a market economy and is thought to be of how China is today.

From here you look down towards the Civic Center's building, the huge library, bookstore, and Children's Palace live theater performance area ... a later walk towards those features across the walking viaduct leads you to some great restaurants and a Starbucks as well as the subway system.
