In Weihai again on a business trip. Booked into a suite. Living room with good leather couch and flatscreen TV, good internet access, good work area.
Normal ammenties, coffee, tea, and mini bar.
Small refridgerator that would cool, but never got cold.
Bedroom had another flat screen TV and work area and again internet access.
Large bed was soft (for China, which is hard by western standards). I tend to beat this a little by asking for an extra comforter and using it as extra padding.
The suite was large enough, and the room location at the end of the hallway and on a high (16th) floor, made it very quiet, the only real room drawback was that the bathroom was very small (one person was a crowd) and did not have a walk in shower. Tub shower only but the tub was quite deep if a person wanted to take a relaxing soak. But it also made getting in and out a bit of a project, IE: Be Careful!.
Breakfast was OK, but as usual, the chef does not know how to make eggs, and the bacon, while tasty, was underdone, as in in not crispy. Chinese style eggs are so you can pick up a hard (think crisp!) fried egg with chopsticks. Over easy or sunny side up doesn't register with the cook.

The front desk was good. Usually someone could speak a bit of English and the exchange rate for US dollars was OK.
Location is in the central area of downtown with good shopping close by and a Starbucks across the street.
Note that I have stayed in several Weihai Hotels, and since my favorite closed, this is the best one so far for a longer term stay.More
