NOTE: This restaurant is in Cartagena COLOMBIA, not Chile.

We intended to go to Porton San Sebastian but mistakenly went to this place -- both are on Calle Santo Domingo, but San Sebastian is on the part that runs perpendicular to the main part of the street, and we didn't see it until after we'd eaten at this place. The food here was not terrible, but was mediocre at best. Ceviche was good. Arroz coco frito was not so great -- it was better everywhere else we had it. Plantain was tasteless. Mojitos were poor -- I think they just passed the rum over the glasses -- and they were expensive! Cartegena beef was basically a very mediocre pot roast, and I'm being generous. The interior courtyard is open to the sky and a pleasant place to eat; too bad the food wasn't better. We were the only patrons -- maybe because it was a Sunday evening, or maybe because it's such a mediocre place.

Everything in this restaurant is excellent.
The location, the food, service, etc. No many tourists, because of the price which is value for money coming from Europe. The court is really inspirational when eating and the bar is good.
The Corvina de mar dorada en salsa a base de cebolla, ajo, maiz tierno, laurel, mestaza y mango is divina!

My husband and I ate here on our first wedding anniversary. Oddly enough, we were the ONLY TWO there. I get the feeling they only opened for our reservation. :) Granted, we also went a bit later, around 9. The service was punctual, which is hard to find in Colombia, and the food delicious. For the atmosphere and cuisine (including a nice bottle of wine and gratuity), I definitely felt $80 was a steal. The place is lovely all around, and I'd recommend it for a nice dinner out. The restaurant provides various atmospheres in one. Check out the website!
