Paris Criollo was the perfect way to end a relaxed few days hiking and soaking up the sun and the beautiful landscape of Parque Tayrona. Located in an old colonial style house, the restaurant brings vibrance to the cobblestone pedestrian restaurant street on which it is housed. The atmosphere is whimsical and romantic, without being stuffy. The food is classy (and delicious!) without being over the top, and the dishes all have flair. We enjoyed the shrimp in a mango chutney and an octopus/calamari dish that is worth the trip alone! The drinks are fresh, fruity, and creative (we loved the Paris Criollo cocktail and the coconut lemonade - all made from fresh fruits!). The fondues looked and smelled wonderful as well. The attention to detail (stacks of books as table legs! art pencils for guests to draw or write on the table - so fun for kids and adults alike!) is refreshing.
