I stayed here on business, 10 nights. Easily the nicest place I've ever stayed on business, and very well located for Hitech City area of Hyderabad (and obviously the attached conference center). Room was not huge, but well furnished and very European. In fact, you cannot really tell you are in India from inside the hotel--which I guess is a plus or a minus depending on your preferences. Personally I was very bored at the hotel, and it is rather cut off from the rest of the city by its grounds and the conference center (again, could be a plus). Also, it is about an hour’s drive to most of the well known tourist sites (Golconda is a must-see).

The TV was a modern LCD flatscreen with lots of international news channels, Bollywood movies, and Cricket on. The swimming pool was nice, even though it was rarely ever used. The fitness center was nice as well, but I don’t recommend the “jogging” path—it is more like a service road. The restaurant was very good (buffet with Indian and international foods), if a tad repetitive for 10 days. Service was always excellent, from staff arranging for drivers to housekeeping and the restaurant. I did have trouble with my hotel reservation, but the staff cleared it up without much issue even though the place was booked solid for conferences while I was there. Price-wise the hotel seemed to be in line with its competition, though I recommend a shopping trip to pick up snacks and drinks elsewhere; the little deli selling crackers etc. was about five times the prices at local stores.

Internet access was good through the wired connection in my room; I never bothered to try wireless. Outlets all supported US and European standard plugs, so I had no trouble plugging in my laptop.

Spent five nights in this hotel.
Rooms are great, breakfast also, good food (though only one restaurant in the hotel) and you got wireless Internet almost everywhere.
That said, I wouldn't recommand this place to anyone except to those who don't want to be in India or work next door in Hi Tech city.
The hotel is far from any place and there is no a single shop around where to buy anything Indian. You're entirely at the mercy of the hotel. The local taxi agency charges rates unknown in India to get you out of there.

I stayed at this hotel over the span of 2 weeks. It was spanking new and the lobby as well as other parts of the hotel was still being worked on.

I was given a room on the second floor close to the parking and the loudspeaker in the parking lot calling the drivers from time to time is quite loud and leaks into the room. The king bed was quite firm, the northern European style which does not suit me well. The room decor is very IKEA, minimalist in a practical way.

The bathroom is like all Novotel in Europe, clean and bright. There are no shower curtain but instead you get a glass pane that runs semi-length of the bathtub. Therefore is is almost guaranteed that you will have some water on the floor if you take a standing shower.

The hotel is located in a middle of nowhere, you have the conference center and then the hotel annexed to it and that's it. You can't walk to a restaurant or anything like that, you are trapped and force to use the hotel restaurant. The food is just OK, nothing is great. At night, there are several security guards that walks along the dark road leading into the hotel to keep it safe. It is definitely not an area that you would want to walk at night.

The breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant is actually quite good, much better than the lunch and dinner time.

This is a good and decent hotel but it has one of those 5-stars that get stamp randomly because it is new. At most, I would rate it as 4. I have yet to see a Novotel that is 5 stars anywhere.

Nice food, we had a great BBQ round the pool on the Saterday night. Good bar also.

Cash machine available which proved a real help. Would definatly stay again.

Upon checkout I promised to write a good review for them. Here it is. This hotel is fantastic! The rooms are very modern and beautiful with all 5 star amenities you could wish for. Nice bathroom with large bath tub, marvelous TV-set, nice loungy couch, great bed with soft pillows (or any pillow you would like to have is available). The food (I had roomservice) was great and delivered quite fast. Also they helped me greatly in sending some documents back to Europe. The pool is very big, although it may feel a bit empty as it is on the edge of the city (very new). The only negative thing was that the hotel doesnt have a travel desk, which had quite some consequences for me. I namely wanted to buy a ticket online (which is not possible with foreign credit cards with certain airlines). So I had to do so at the airport, but upon arrival the flight was sold out already... A travel desk could have prevented this. Breakfast in the executive lounge was superb. Just great service and excellent food! This hotel was the cheapest among the five stars when I was there, but certainly a great option.
