I stayed here on business, 10 nights. Easily the nicest place I've ever stayed on business, and very well located for Hitech City area of Hyderabad (and obviously the attached conference center). Room was not huge, but well furnished and very European. In fact, you cannot really tell you are in India from inside the hotel--which I guess is a plus or a minus depending on your preferences. Personally I was very bored at the hotel, and it is rather cut off from the rest of the city by its grounds and the conference center (again, could be a plus). Also, it is about an hour’s drive to most of the well known tourist sites (Golconda is a must-see).
The TV was a modern LCD flatscreen with lots of international news channels, Bollywood movies, and Cricket on. The swimming pool was nice, even though it was rarely ever used. The fitness center was nice as well, but I don’t recommend the “jogging” path—it is more like a service road. The restaurant was very good (buffet with Indian and international foods), if a tad repetitive for 10 days. Service was always excellent, from staff arranging for drivers to housekeeping and the restaurant. I did have trouble with my hotel reservation, but the staff cleared it up without much issue even though the place was booked solid for conferences while I was there. Price-wise the hotel seemed to be in line with its competition, though I recommend a shopping trip to pick up snacks and drinks elsewhere; the little deli selling crackers etc. was about five times the prices at local stores.
Internet access was good through the wired connection in my room; I never bothered to try wireless. Outlets all supported US and European standard plugs, so I had no trouble plugging in my laptop.
