Goa, Santana and Us

For us Goa means Santana. We have been going to Santana for the past 6-7 years and it only gets better.

The beautiful layout, the most friendly and energetic staff and the food is also fabulous! The breakfast has a lovely and fresh spread always and personally attended by Leanne and Verner.

This time, due to the pandemic we were concerned about safety. Only to go there and find out the imaaculate precautions they are taking both in house keeping and the food service. They have maintained almost zero contact from the guests during the breakfast. And it was one of the very few places in Goa insisting on the wearing of masks and on maintaining social distancing.

All in all, we love our stay in this beautiful resort always (which is like our Goa home now) and look forward to our visit here year on year!

Exceptional experience

We booked our stay through MrRavneet Bhalla and trust me it was a completely hassle free process.. he took care of all our requirements and made the stay a memorable experience.. right at the beach, spacious rooms, awesome customer service, one just can’t ask for more.. a must visit :)

Beautiful Beach resort

My husband and I visited Santana beach resort a couple of times and I must say we absolutely love the place. The host Verner does a fantastic job and makes you feel at home. The courteous and well trained staffed do a really great job too. It's a great place to de-stress and relax. The room comes with great amenities and is absolutely well maintained. It's truly value for money. Everything is hygienically cleaned and sanitised. The rooms are spacious and airy. They also have a mouth watering in room dining menu and restaurant and a fabulous beach shack restaurant named Calamari. It's the ideal location for a holiday, with the beach just at the resort's doorsteps, ample dining options, supermarkets and tourist spots that are close by couple with their in-room spa facilities you need not venture too far to enjoy and have a wonderful stay.

Totally Pathetic !

I would have given a 0 star if there was an option... These guys will charge you for basic amenities such as a Dental Kit ! In all my years of travelling, I never ever had to pay for a dental kit, especially in a resort where you are paying handsomely for a room... The fittings in the washroom are leaking.. The condition of the rooms is just pathetic, looks like some 2 star hotel...

Dear Sir,

I am so sorry we didnt live up to your expectations. However I would like to point out a couple of things to you. Firstly, the "handsome price" you paid is half of our normal rate. We decided to drop the rates this year in order to make them more affordable during Covid times for those guests who need a break from their hometowns. And even though we are being paid less for our rooms we are still trying to maintain the high level of service we are known for, infact to a higher standard given the Covid govt guidelines we strictly implement.

A toothbrush kit to me is not an essential item that a 3* hotel needs to provide, infact I would expect most guests to carry their own, not only for personal hygiene reasons but also to save the planet from unwanted and unnecessary plastic. Of course, there are times when a guest genuinely forgets their toothbrush at home, in which case we keep some regular amenities on standby and charge the actual cost price, just to save the guest from the inconvenience of going to a local shop to buy one.

I apologise for the inconvenience of the washroom fittings leaking, was this brought to the attention of any member of staff? I wish it had because we have a strict policy in place with our maintenance department where all faults need to be rectified immediately so as not to inconvenience our guests. There is something called "constructive criticism", if you had reported the issue with us immediately, we would have rectified it on the spot and you would have probably enjoyed your stay better. However, reporting it after your stay (and we dont even know which room you stayed in) doesnt help us and certainly doesnt improve your stay in any way. Perhaps on your further 'globetrotting' travels you may want to consider this!

The perfect vacay stay

We had 5 rooms booked at Santana for a 4 nights stay. The property location is awesome. The staff and service is worth every appreciation. The property in itself is very scenic/beautiful. Their food is yummilicious A very special thanks to Nilesh Sir for accommodating our requirements every now and then. Santana is now going to be our forever choice for a stay in Goa Thanks a ton for hosting us
