No roomboy, no telephone in room, no TV, no toiletries, no amenities, no white sheets. Worst hotel. We were two, me and my friend. I am myself a hotelier, and this hotel was a nightmare. Location was okay, but the worst thing was the room. The room was even more smaller than our store room and had no amenities. It even didn't had a telephone, no almirah, no top sheets on blanket. The bed was two woods joined together and nothing else. It's possibly the worst hotel in India, which in this time doesn't even have telephone in rooms. There was no roomboy even. Worst experience. Please anyone, don't ever go to this hotel. Deeply dissatisfied as this hotel ruined our trip to Udaipur.

You have to travel through narrow lanes of Udaipur to reach the place just beside Lake Pichola. The property is little congested but it gives wonderful view of City Palace and Gangaur Ghat. You can enjoy the Folk Dance show at Gangaur Ghat from Roof top accompanied by illuminated view of City Palace at night. City Palace, Bagore ki Haveli and Manji Raj ka Ghat are at walk-able distance from the hotel. Rooms are spacious and neat. The restaurant food is little costly and not tasty (but the view is awesome). This place is quite famous among foreigners. When we visited in December, half of the hotel was filled by international tourist. Overall a economical place for short stay in Udaipur.

Room tip: Ask for rooms facing the lake.

Stayed here in January 2017, just next to lake pichola,- hanuman ghat walking bridge, near by attraction like jagdish temple, city palace is walkable. This hotel seems to be a home converted to hotel. Lift not available. However rooms are neat. Rooms facing lakes are always preferable, so rooms on top floor are better. There is a roof top restaurant which provides a wonderful view. Foods however in restaurant are costly but not so tasty either. The hotel provides arrangements for local sightseeing( auto rickshaw n cabs). Overall good experience.

It was terrifying me to try this property till I reached there, it was a warm place, cozy but best maintained at this price,it was clean and hygiene maintained, I was not expecting it at such low price, I got confidence in property now,we ordered tea first to check the food which again turned great, I stayed here for two nights, really liked there rooftop which is the place in morning and evening, location is perfect, best economical stay we must say.
