As in a lot of hotels in India "ask and thou shalt receive" is essential to keep in mind. It was very cold in February. We had to ask for a top sheet (when will they ever learn that westerners are appalled at the lack of a top sheet?) - they saw me coming..........with the sheet came toilet paper and soap an extra pillow and a lovely warm duvet. We slept well despite the usual hard bed.....
Kept the bathroom door closed to give the next room privacy in their bathroom!
The overall cleanliness was badly marred by the complete neglect of the mirrors (not on the cleaners' list?)
The garden cafe (not roof as suggested- the monkeys own that as my husband found out when he took his computer up there to do some work) has the same sort of problem, you have to ask for the table to be cleaned - point out the need for water! and try not to handle the chairs........ the staff are very well meaning so be nice but do ask.............
It was cheap and very well placed so the value was good. We recommend it .
