Wonderful Boutique Hotel tucked away in a quiet peaceful spot. The Staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms are very comfortable, clean large room with all the amenities. The food was amazing, so good we can't wait to come back again.

Our first stay at the Villa having travelled to Bali 25 or so times over the years. The staff were sensational, very friendly and welcoming. The property itself is fantastic. Accommodation was great with comfortable king size bed. Recommend this Villa highly.

Room Tip: Small hotel all room are close to pool, bad and eating area.

Arriving in any hotel in the world in the early hours of the morning is not a good way to start a break, but Villa Hening certainly know how to make you forget your concerns. An efficient pickup at the airport (in spite of taking 1 1/2 hours to get through immigration) was the start of the relaxation therapy Villa Hening offered. An easy registration by efficient and charming staff soon had us marveling at the fantastic room (Susan) that awaited us. Never easy to know exactly what you are getting when you book on line, but TripAdvisor and Agoda certainly did not seem to have let us down. Basically this room was a poolside apartment and seemingly very nicely appointed too. The good experience was somewhat tempered in the morning as daylight revealed that maintenance and the critical eye of a hotel manager were lacking. Definite signs of living on past glory showed in the wear and tear that had not been rectified and failure to clean thoroughly such as into the corners and above head height! A loose protruding screw on the shower room door was waiting to catch and tear clothing or worse, ones waist! The door frame was coming away from the wall. Decking around the pool was broken and losing varnish. The spa seems to use staff called in as needed and reflected a lack of pride and care in the facilities, but their massage was pretty good. With some care and attention it could fulfill its potential, everything is there, just not seemingly cared for! Location is not great but then, if you are here to relax, you are probably not planning on trawling the bars, restos and tourist shops whilst dancing the night away in clubs! If you are, then Villa Hening may disappoint you but taxis are easily available. Hopefully surrounding developments will not impact on the marvelous views which are an inherent part of the feel good factor. Staff never failed to impress, except when it came to serving food - that took a very long time to arrive and you didn't always get what you ordered, if it came at all! It's a great hotel which just feels a bit uncared for and un-managed at the moment and has therefore in my view lost the deserving of its high TripAdvisor rating of 2013 which is proudly displayed on the front desk. Definitely worth staying here though, as the plusses heavily outweigh the minuses.

This villa is absolutely fabulous. We didn't have a prior reservation, showed up spur of the moment and were greeted by friendly English speaking Balanese. The owner came out to meet us, offered wine/beer and the presidential suite. It was an easy decision to stay here ! Highly highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the Jimbaran area !

This place is beautiful! The view is amazing, and our room has exceeded my expectations! I knew it would be lovely but didn't quite expect such a massive room! I booked a one bedroom harbour/pool view, we stayed in 'Melissa' there are only 7 rooms here so no matter which one you book it will be awesome!

The staff are really wonderful and always extremely helpful. And love a chat, they make you feel like a part of the family here.

Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here if they are looking for a relaxing quiet place. Hening I believe means quiet or silence so it's quite fitting.

You will need to get a taxi to go anywhere though, but they book bluebird group so you know you have a reputable company that are metered, so even to seminyak on a busy day it won't be much more than $10 (aus) just make sure you can get a blue bird taxi back!
