“Great location and good churros!”
Review of Churros La Fonda

Churros La Fonda
Ranked #300 of 995 Restaurants in Kuta
Price range: US$1 - US$2
Cuisines: Spanish
Description: Not like waffle or pancake, churro is an unfamiliar word to Indonesian snacks-vocabulary. But it's true, you can count with your own fingers how many cafés or restaurants dedicate their menu only for churros, especially original Spanish churros.Nowadays, there are a lot of varieties of churros like chichi, big churros with filling, some even sell salty churros. Churros La Fonda sells the original Spanish churros only. We serve it with cinnamon sugar or dipping sauces.Churros La Fonda is the best place to enjoy the heavenly taste churros con chocolate. You can easily spot our stall as it made from a three wheeler Bajaj with very flashy colors. Some people asked why we don't serve straight-shaped churros? Well, every name has a tale, so do churros. Centuries ago, Spanish shepherds used to make churros while tending churra sheep high in the mountains. The name "churro" was derived from that sheep because the pastry resembled the sheep's coil-shaped horns. A lot of people tasted it and they keep coming back because they just can’t resist it. If you don't trust them, come and taste it by yourself. Buen provecho!

We made a quick stop here on our way to Ubud from the airport. Had churros with matcha sugar and matcha dipping sauce - THE BEST! I really liked the sauce because it wasn't too sweet. Since I came here on a Sunday, we also ordered the gluten-free crepe (apparently they serve gluten-free crepes and waffles every Sunday). To top it off, you also get to enjoy a relaxing view of green rice fields. Will definitely return!

Riding our scooter and found this wonderful little gem. The churros are out of this world. We had the churro sandwich which is unbelievable. Churros made like a bun with ice cream in the middle, the BEST!!!

The coffees were great too and the service was lovely. Worth a stop, if you can find it as it's out of the way.

We stopped by for a snack at Churros La Fonda. Service was quick. We ordered two plates of churros, coffee, and savoury crepes. Coffee is tasty. Churros was so yummy. Really love the chocolate sauce. The crepes were good too. Love their onion relish. We were so full we decide to take away the churros. Definitely coming back. Good prices and the place has nice view on the rice field.

First of all, i love the place..it is very unique and also has the second floor which can view the rice fields..its perfect for the afternoon snack time..
Second, i tried the classic churros, it is crispy on the outside and soft at the inside, then plus with the sugar and the chocolate sauce makes my day happier..

Thankyouuu la fonda churros..

I will be back again...
