Our room was very good equipped and had a beautiful view over bali. We liked the comfort of the bed and the big shower, used the coffee machine and tv (with big screen) a couple of times and worked well. The staff was always friendly but sometimes they couldn't answer our questions which made them seem incompetent. Maybe this is also a language issue. Breakfast is okay and it had a wide variety of food. Quality of the food could be better though. When we arrived and entered our room we could smell a very bad smell of mold coming from the aircondition. This is definitely a no-go and a health hazard! Took the staff 3 days to fix the problem. The infinity pool is very cool and has a great atmosphere, but the cleanliness of the water is not the best. They should clean or change the water more often. Also the hotel is very noisy, especially in the evening and the morning when we still wanted to sleep this was annoying. We could hear the telephone ringing at the reception and the music from the bar. We also had a massage, which was very good and the therapist was also friendly. But again we could hear the loud music from the bar which made it impossible to relax fully. So our overall experience was good but there is definitely room for improvement at Artotel Sanur.
