I've stayed at a number of the villas that are listed with Private Ubud Villas and like the rest, I've absolutely no complaints about this one. It's a bit of a walk from the main street, followed by a number of steps up to the villa, but that also meant the location was wonderfully quiet. The back of the villa is on to a small rice paddy field, with a narrow pathway that will take you to Bintang supermarket, where you can stock up on anything needed for your stay. Breakfast is included at the villa and each morning Lopo, who looks after the villa, will come and make a bowl of fresh fruit salad, along with eggs anyway you like with toast and jam. After breakfast, he goes about cleaning the villa and pool, before leaving you to yourself in your own private sanctuary. The open living/dining/kitchen area has ceiling fans to give a breeze and both bedrooms have good working air conditioners, to give a cool nights sleep. Nice ensuite bathrooms and small walk-in robe is off each bedroom. If like us, you're looking for somewhere to get away from it all in Bali, this could be the place for you.
