Close to Airport

So nice to have a hotel with shuttle bus this close to Medan airport.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Breakfast was a little underwhelming but would still happily stay here on next visit!

Useless, unfriendly, unprofessional staff...

Tried to stay in this hotel last month as I was in transit in medan. There were several rooms online so we went straight to the hotel. Staff is useless, unprofessional, do not speak english, giggle at your face, ignore you, mess up guest reservations who are forced to search for something else in the middle of the night. They only care about the airplace crews arriving late at night.
Do yourself a favor and go straight to Thongs inn (there arent many other choices near the airport). For the same value you will have a much nicer, professional experience.

free airport transfer (must reserve 1 day before)
nice interior

Rooms without windows and dirty, very unfriendly staff

When arriving at the reception we saw immediately that we were not welcome in this hotel. Everyone was unfriendly and trying to be as unhelpfull as possible.

Many rooms don't have a window. You need to book a business class room to have a window.

The rooms are dirty an the bathroom was really filthy. The hotel is new but already needs maintenance all over.

The staff in the cockpit bar needed almost 10 minutes to come and take our order although they were 3 and there were only 4 guests including me and my wife.

Our advice : do not go there!

Perfect for the Airport

Perfectly good hotel if you need one near Medan airport. Drive is about 15 mins maximum from airport. Stayed in the 1st class room which was large, modern but somewhat past its prime. No toiletries which would have been good but kettle etc . Breakfast was Indonesian. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English, they went beyond to organise a car and driver to Lake Toba. Note there is nothing in the vicinity of the hotel apart from a KFC. I.E no shop to buy water or anything similar.
