We were at this place at the beginning of October 2017. We were delighted by the building, the atmosphere and the staff. The place is also very clean. We just stayed for a day but we would have extended our stay if we'd have had the time.
I don't recommend the free tour, it is mainly about visiting shops.

This was a great place to stay! I like the fact that they have a kitchen for the guest to use for cooking! Also I recommend the free walking tour that starts at 9:30 am from this place. The cooking workshop was so much fun!

Great Inn in the heart of the city, very authentic and welcoming, near the market and some good restaurants. We had a great time here.
Note to management: have enough sitting places for all guests at breakfast.

Dear guest
Thanks for sharing with us your experience at the Fauzi Azar Inn.
It's very nice to know that you've liked the place, the authenticity of the Inn and the surrounding attractions.

I'll sure take in consideration your note regarding the sitting places at breakfast and will be sure to add more space that will give all the guests the possibility to sit and enjoy breakfast.
Actually, we have reorganized the breakfast room and it is more spacious now!

Greetings from Nazareth
Suraida

This amazing old building takes you back in time. Love the faded painted ceilings, cracked marble floor and shady court yard. The perfect place to relax and plan your further trip!
Well situated in the old part of Nazareth.

You know how some hostels like to advise themselves as "a second home"? Well that phrase is definitely true for the Fauzi Azar. First of all the building, a restored Mansion from the 1800s is beautiful. The ornamental ceilings and tile floors are original, rooms, as well as common areas are large and comfortable, especially the little courtyard. The hostel is situated in the old town of Nazareth and a free tour from the hostel shows you around traditional as well as new shops in the area and explains why the market has been largely abandoned and the mission to revive this historical site. Staff was incredibly friendly, the breakfast is simple but delicious and I especially enjoyed the concert by a traditional Arabic musician on Friday night. I am definitely looking forward to staying here again when I'm in the area!
