This is biggest and best Zoo in Israel, with a lot of animals and free zones, where they walk free in natural environment.

Drive and watch free Hypos in their ponds, free Giraffes, Elephants, Gnu and many other wild animal species all around you. Great for families with small kids, special morning and Night feeding tours. Special protected area for the lions.

We had a wonderful time seeing so many different types of animals highlighted by driving by a pride of lions. The grounds are beautiful and clean and the experience is one that is hard to find many other places. Children and adults all enjoyed.

Visited on a weekday at 15:00. We were one of very few people here so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. We saw all the animals in the safari with ease. The rhinos were my favorite.

The walk through zoo was also enjoyable. The gorillas were a definite highlight, as were the Elephants and other primates. We spent four hours total (safari + walk-through zoo) and my toddler played on the awesome playground, pet sheep and goats (and one random alpaca) and took a nap as well. I brought snacks and we ate them in the shade. We didn't get to see all the animals so we'll definitely be back.

I imagine on a Saturday or holiday it would be a nightmare with how crowded it would be. The only way I would go on a busy day is if someone paid me.

You enter at the safari side and drive through viewing animals from your car. Within the safari is an entrance to see the lions. When you get through with the safari part you park at the entrance to the walk-through part of the zoo. You have a option of renting golf carts so you can drive yourself through the walking part of the zoo.

You cannot walk through the safari part so if you aren't driving you'll have to take the shuttle. The shuttle is efficient but won't stop so you can admire the animals as if you were in your own car. It's probably a 7 minute or so drive straight through (you won't see lions that way, either) whereas in your own car you could spend 30 minutes or more admiring the safari animals.

The zoo stops letting people in at 17:00 but you can stay until 19:00.

An overall enjoyable experience. We will definitely return. :)

We visited the park on a Friday morning and it was half empty, perfect.

We did not have a car for the drive-only part but the park has a van to take you across (a few extra shekels for this). In the first part you can see zebras, ostriches, rhinos etc all roaming freely (well, standing mostly bc it's hot!).

The second part is like a zoo. It has a good variety of animals (bears, gorillas, snakes, giraffes, elephants...) spread over a 4km walking path. Lots of benches, picnic spots, toilets and drinks kiosks all throughout. Also a couple of playgrounspots. Kids, big and small, can be easily entertained and manage the walk. If not, you can rent a golf cart, 95nis for 30min or 165nis for 90min. We stayed 2 hours in this part.

Took the van back towards the entrance, on the way went through the lions enclosure.

Must also mention the staff. Very friendly, helpful, smiley. All multilingual!

We had a wonderful day here and I highly recommend this park!
