I'm not sure now what the current name of this restaurant is. I think it is still The new artisan Bakery, formerly known as Rosemary or Rosmarin, but I know it's on Yerushalim street. We went here for our last dinner in Tzfat. The waitress came to take our order, she didn't speak a word of English & they didn't have an English menu to speak of. Another waiter came over who it was his first day there tried to translate the Hebrew menu to us and was unable to explain the dishes to us. Luckily Nachman, the baker came over (covered in flour) who spoke English because he's from L. A. came and told us the menu in English, he was a life saver!!! Unfortunately I can't remember what we ordered but whatever we did was very good and Nachman was very helpful & came back several times to check on us!! He promised us that they were in the process of getting English menus!! Hopefully by this time they have them, because I think this probably deterred people from eating here & that's a big mistake!! I highly recommend this little café!!!

We were served by a pleasant waitress who spoke perfect English. Both the Salads and Pastas were excellent. The restaurant's cuisine is different from most of the local places which tend to be the usual Felafel and Schwarma joints. Definitely recommend!

Our family went for lunch to this wonderful restaurant today (now the Rosmarin). The location and view are spectacular (and you should ask for a table with the mountain view). The food is even better. We highly recommend the Rosemarin Salmon, the House Pizza, the Pear-Feta salad and the Belgian Waffle. The only so-so item was the Lentil Soup. The service was great the chef very friendly. We would come back.

sadly, this lovely bakery and cafe in Bar Yohai street has closed down.
but the good news is that chef Nachman and his team have moved to Rosmary, an even better location on 70 Jerusalem street ( the midrehov) with a wonderful view
