The place is indeed beautiful, but the food is far from it. We ordered simple tomato sauce pasta qhich cost quite a bit and got the smallest portion of pasta i have ever seen. My 6 year old nephew ate it in about a minute and was as hungry as he was when we came in. When we told the manager, he said this was a standard portion and thats that.
Others at the table also got small portions, which were ok, but nothing more.

In short, come for coffe and atmosphere, but eat before...

Good place to stop on the way up to (or down from) the Golan or the Galil. Right near the southern tip of the Kineret - perfect location. Nice, tranquil, charming atmosphere, and solid - if not particularly original - dairy offerings. Kosher restaurants in that area are hard to come by (without venturing into Tiberias). This is worth a visit.

Sitting on the porch during the colder months is charming. The kosher food is good but not really cheap. Nevertheless, we've been here already several times.

This small cafe is situated within the grounds of the first kibbutz (communal settlement) in Israel - Kibbutz Degania Aleph.

The ambience is very pleasant but culinary it's not so very special.
It is a nice experience to visit this particular kibbutz.
Menu is dairy - suitable for brunch.
