Checked in total of 3 nights in shin shin hotel.

Room itself is okay. But I got one big gripe which is the bed is so hard, it feel as though you are sleeping on the floor. So if you are a side sleeper like me, don't book this hotel unless you want to wake up multiple times at night with sore hips.

During my three nights visit, I experienced water cut off one time at night(9.45am+ to 12am for approx two hours).
One time in the morning (6am+ to 8am+++, im still counting until I've check out)

So good luck to you. Maybe I'm just unlucky with the water cut off.

I'm not writing the good part about the hotel, you can read it through other reviews. Basically location, big bathroom, accessibility, etc

Stayed at hotel Shin Shin on two occasions: first for one night, on the 9th of June (room 301), second for two nights, 11th to 13th of June (room 311).
The hotel is located close to a large market, in a neighborhood of narrow streets lined with small restaurants, hole-in-the-wall food joints, some karaoke bars, small shops, all very Korean and not at all touristy, which was great. Another plus concerning the location is the hotel’s proximity to Seomyeon metro station (less than 5 minutes’ walk), a main thoroughfare on Busan’s metro system.
There’s a nice Korean barbecue restaurant on the hotel’s second floor, a bit pricey compared to what’s on offer in the area, but a few notches up too. Meat is wonderful, you choose it and they bring it to your table for you to barbecue on a grill they also provided. A wonderful experience that I strongly recommend, despite the price.
First period:
When we booked through Booking.com we had asked for an upper floor room, which was not the case with this one. Nevertheless, although some noise could be heard during the day from the street below, the room seemed to be quite well insulated for this to be really faint. The night was quiet, but we used some hear plugs just to make sure.
The room was quite large, with two double beds (!), spotlessly clean, with large bathroom with walk-in shower area and a large bathtub, large shampoo, shower gel and air conditioner dispensers, Japanese-style toilet, TV with loads of channels, perfectly working air conditioning. Bed was huge and comfortable, with two fantastic pillows.
Slippers were provided, but no bathrobes. There was also no safe, which was a bit annoying, and no wardrobe: there were just some hangers (4) on the wall, which was also a bit annoying. This was the only downfall of the room.
Wifi was excellent (no password required).
Breakfast was buffet style, only Korean options, which we found great, presented on a very simple, ‘no thrills-no frills’ way, a bit like in a canteen, although the breakfast room was fairly fancy. There were two nice ladies preparing the food in the open kitchen and the food was quite good. Again, mainly (only) Korean options, which meant some of the dishes were a tad spicy. Coffee available from a jug, fruit juice (orange, I believe) also available and sliced bread. I think there was milk too, but I don’t drink this, so can’t be too sure. At the end of the meal, guests should throw the leftovers on the designated bin and separate the dirty dishes and “cutlery” on the appointed place. Some people (western tourists) may find this a bit…questionable, let’s put it this way, but we loved it. When in Korea, be Korean!
Second period.
Pretty much the same remarks as for the first period, only this time the room was smaller, which made the storage issue a bit more complicated. Also, the TV was not working, which was quickly solved by Reception upon our request. However, they could not solve whatever issue there was with the electronics part of the toilet, which was not working and remained so for the rest of our stay; this was a pity, because we had got quite used to using it in other stays in Korea.
A final word to reception staff. So, so friendly!!! Really nice, friendly and helpful people, especially a certain Mr. Park; not only he was very nice to us, he also spoke excellent English. The rest of the reception staff was also very helpful and nice, although we had a bit more difficulty in understanding their English.
So, would I stay here again? Considering the location, the price and what we get for it, I would certainly consider it. The fact that there isn’t a proper wardrobe or a safe is an issue that the hotel should get sorted; because of that, my 4 points rating.

Good location as seomyeon station was nearby. The traditional market was also right at the doorsteps of the hotel. Free breakfast was nothing much and you would be better off buying your own food. Great stay overall.

For traveller who enjoyed more on local market, friendly area and warm welcome to Busan, this is the best place.
1) Location near MRT Seomyeon Station - About 5 minutes walk with lots of street food available while walking back to the hotel.
2) Opposite the hotel is the local market, whereby you can get better offer for dried seaweed, fresh fruits, and lots of food places around the area.
3) Friendly and english speaking staffs available.
4) Room with warmer if you traveling during winter time. Clean and neat too.

Room Tip: All the rooms very quiet.

Shin Shin Hotel is conveniently located near the subway station and there are many things to eat nearby. It is also near to a market. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and space is of reasonable size. The breakfast is also very nice and value for money. Parking is free but some time hotel guests may have to wait to get space to park their car, especially in the evening.
