There is one minor problem. The morning breakfast buffet area is not big enough to accommodate all guests during the peak period ie. 9am. Me and a few other pple had to wait outside for people to finish ( only got my table at around 920 am) it was a mad rush after that as they clear the food at 10 am. For a 5 star established hotel should not be the case, management should look at a bigger dining area in anticipation of festive periods like chinese new year etc. I stayed from 20/2/15-22/2/15 on the whole it was a pleasant stay. The rooms was big,bed spacious and comfortable, TV had around 60 channels and was easy to get around kaoshiung as a whole. Granted there is no direct access to the subway( nearest mrt was xinyi elementary school) 7 min walk, but it has some food shops along the way and depending on the weather it's acceptable. If u r into sports wear directly opposite the hotel there's a few sport shops, at night there is also a pub located beside for u to chill and unwind (never had time to visit either) . Will revisit in future
