There is one minor problem. The morning breakfast buffet area is not big enough to accommodate all guests during the peak period ie. 9am. Me and a few other pple had to wait outside for people to finish ( only got my table at around 920 am) it was a mad rush after that as they clear the food at 10 am. For a 5 star established hotel should not be the case, management should look at a bigger dining area in anticipation of festive periods like chinese new year etc. I stayed from 20/2/15-22/2/15 on the whole it was a pleasant stay. The rooms was big,bed spacious and comfortable, TV had around 60 channels and was easy to get around kaoshiung as a whole. Granted there is no direct access to the subway( nearest mrt was xinyi elementary school) 7 min walk, but it has some food shops along the way and depending on the weather it's acceptable. If u r into sports wear directly opposite the hotel there's a few sport shops, at night there is also a pub located beside for u to chill and unwind (never had time to visit either) . Will revisit in future

This hotel is very nice. Clean, great large rooms with modern decor. The bed is super comfortable, the bathroom is large and very stylish. The pool, hot tub and sauna are great. The service is spectacular and the lobby area is very nice. The staff are very friendly to non Mandarin speaking guest. The breakfast is excellent with all different varieties you would expect. The location is very good, next to many parks and restaurants. I will definitely stay here again.

If you want a reasonably priced five star hotel in a central location this is the hotel for you. Friendly staff, good cuisine and amenities. This hotel provides good access to number of the cities landmarks.....

Room Tip: Higher floors offers better views over the city.

The overall design uses marble floors and maple wood integrated with indirect lightings along with a collection of many art works. The ten meter high ceiling atrium uses metal and glass to design a large modernistic overhead art piece, echoing with the restaurants on the second floor. The abstract paintings painted by the founder Dr. Lee Deng Mu are hanged on the lobby walls, adding a spacious and imposing ambience to the lobby. ... more   less
