i went to hatyai with my friend for five days four nights and we stayed in tune hotel.
Firstly, the staffs are friendly. One of the staff recomended us some place to visit and explained to us very clearly.
Secondly, the room is very clean and new. In Malaysia, tune hotel's room normally very small but for Hatyai, i was surprised that it is quite big.
Thirdly, the location. It is quite convenient to walk to lee plaza, kim yong market, central, robinson, pasar and etc. There are many tutu taxi waiting outside the hotel if you need it.
Next, the rate is vry low, really low. i booked the room with promotion rate. its helped me to save lotz.
The last thing, when my friend n i checked in the room, we also purchased the aircond service for 24 hours. We top up again on the third day and the aircond stopped on the 4th day. We went to the counter to ask them and explained to them that.it is impossible we can finish 24 hours credit in one day, and the staff have help us to top up again for free.
Conclusion, good experience in hatyai. will definitely recommend to friends and choose tune hotel again if i go to hatyai in the future. thanks tune hotel!

Stayed for 3 nights in 2 twin rooms from 26 June to 29 June. No complaints if you know what to expect from Tune Hotel. Location is good, rooms were spacious and clean, beds were comfortable, service with a sweet smile at a great price! (if you book early)
Hat Yai city map provided free at the lobby was useful especially for tuk tuk drivers to locate places where we wanted to visit. Even to go back to the hotel, many drivers were still not sure where is Tune Hotel. Just showed them the map of Tune, made communications easy.

Room tip: Purchase 12 hours air-con is sufficient. Ceiling fan is provided in the room. Greenway night market is not worth a visit. Goods sold are inferior quality. Walked to Robinson and Odean were just 5 minutes. To Central Dept store & Kim Yong Market took us about 7 minutes and 10 minutes to walk to the Pasar. Must take a tuk tuk to go to Big C extra & Tesco.

Newest hotel in Hatyai, so what else? It is clean and comfortable, and most importantly CHEAP!

Many of you may know Tune Hotel is under AirAsia Group, so everything is chargeable and optional...

Make sure you check both Tune and Airasiago websites to compare prices... I booked Airasiago and it was much cheaper...

12hrs aircon is more than enough if you don't plan to stay in the hotel the whole day.

the Front desk is very friendly and helpful.

Luggage can be stored for free for short period, longer period at THB40/pc/day.

First stay at a Tune franchise. For the uninitiated, it is another money spinner for Tony Fernandez, owner of Air Asia, who has added hotels to his travel business. The concept is as you would expect from a company that has a budget airline as a model. You get a basic room and you add everything else that you deem necessary for your comfort - for a price of course.

Agoda was doing a deal for their rooms for Baht 760 a night so we thought we'd give it a try for 2. Well let's start with parking. There is secure parking but not sure there were enough. Lucky for us we came by bike and the guard was quite obliging and let us park in a car bay. Check in was smooth and we were given towels, a TV remote and toiletries.

Getting into the room was a bit tricky. The key reader was working but it was mated to an old door that wasn't. Bathroom was clean with great shower. Beds were comfy and sheets clean. Positive notes.

The negatives? Other than the telly, the room is devoid of anything that makes it welcoming, being closer I imagine to a prison cell. White with grey paint and windows that can't be fully opened making the room feel, well, a cell. And no accessible wi-fi in the room despite having paid for it.

So no-frills hotel tried now. I guess if you're on holiday its not the place to stay at. Cheap but definitely not cheerful. Plastic flowers (you could rent these I guess) could have made all the difference.
