I have stayed in a couple of Tune Hotels before but this one missed the mark slightly...they were very strict with their check in time which resulted about 50 plus guests cramping in their not so big lobby waiting to check in at 2.00 pm sharp...not a minute earlier.

Receptionists were pleasant and were always smiling which was a good sight. Rooms given to us were clean and big...the biggest tune room so far. Unfortunately they have the same shower room design as in Tune Pattaya, only partially covered hence the entire bathroom was wet after my shower plus water pressure was not consistent.

Got myself a very good deal in expedia.com (at about 30USD) per night inclusive of all add ons. (towel, air conditioning, TV and wifi)

Location was fine, not too far from the action but on a quieter street of Hat Yai. 5 minutes walk to Odean Mall and a few minutes more to Central Mall.

i went to hatyai with my friend for five days four nights and we stayed in tune hotel.
Firstly, the staffs are friendly. One of the staff recomended us some place to visit and explained to us very clearly.
Secondly, the room is very clean and new. In Malaysia, tune hotel's room normally very small but for Hatyai, i was surprised that it is quite big.
Thirdly, the location. It is quite convenient to walk to lee plaza, kim yong market, central, robinson, pasar and etc. There are many tutu taxi waiting outside the hotel if you need it.
Next, the rate is vry low, really low. i booked the room with promotion rate. its helped me to save lotz.
The last thing, when my friend n i checked in the room, we also purchased the aircond service for 24 hours. We top up again on the third day and the aircond stopped on the 4th day. We went to the counter to ask them and explained to them that.it is impossible we can finish 24 hours credit in one day, and the staff have help us to top up again for free.
Conclusion, good experience in hatyai. will definitely recommend to friends and choose tune hotel again if i go to hatyai in the future. thanks tune hotel!

Stayed for 3 nights in 2 twin rooms from 26 June to 29 June. No complaints if you know what to expect from Tune Hotel. Location is good, rooms were spacious and clean, beds were comfortable, service with a sweet smile at a great price! (if you book early)
Hat Yai city map provided free at the lobby was useful especially for tuk tuk drivers to locate places where we wanted to visit. Even to go back to the hotel, many drivers were still not sure where is Tune Hotel. Just showed them the map of Tune, made communications easy.

Room tip: Purchase 12 hours air-con is sufficient. Ceiling fan is provided in the room. Greenway night market is not worth a visit. Goods sold are inferior quality. Walked to Robinson and Odean were just 5 minutes. To Central Dept store & Kim Yong Market took us about 7 minutes and 10 minutes to walk to the Pasar. Must take a tuk tuk to go to Big C extra & Tesco.

Newest hotel in Hatyai, so what else? It is clean and comfortable, and most importantly CHEAP!

Many of you may know Tune Hotel is under AirAsia Group, so everything is chargeable and optional...

Make sure you check both Tune and Airasiago websites to compare prices... I booked Airasiago and it was much cheaper...

12hrs aircon is more than enough if you don't plan to stay in the hotel the whole day.

the Front desk is very friendly and helpful.

Luggage can be stored for free for short period, longer period at THB40/pc/day.
